w88 casino News (provided by the w88 casino of Finance)In order to deeply understand and grasp the country's strategic deployment on improving the quality of undergraduate talent training, on the afternoon of March 16, 2021, the Theoretical Learning Center Group of the Party Committee of the w88 casino of Finance organized a study of the "Implementation Plan for the Review and Evaluation of Undergraduate Education and Teaching in General Universities (2021-2025)", which was lectured by Zhang Haiyang, deputy dean of the college.

Zhang Haiyang first introduced the guiding ideology, basic principles, evaluation objects, cycles and classifications, evaluation procedures, organizational management, etc. of this round of undergraduate education and teaching review and evaluation. He especially emphasized that an important purpose of this round of review and evaluation is to “comprehensively implement We must implement the fundamental task of cultivating people with moral integrity, resolutely eliminate the stubborn miasma of the "Five Onlys", reverse the unscientific orientation of education evaluation, and ensure the central position of talent training and the core position of undergraduate education and teaching." One of the basic principles that we focus on is "implementing the 'centeredness' and 'four returns'."

Subsequently, Zhang Haiyang gave a detailed interpretation of the review and evaluation indicators, and pointed out based on the actual situation of the college that in the future period, the college should further strengthen the following aspects: (1) ideological and political construction of courses; (2) construction of micro-majors; (3) jointly building scientific research practice and internship training bases with scientific research institutes and enterprises; (4) graduation thesis topics selected from teacher majors professional practice and scientific research topics; (5) teaching material construction; (6) new liberal arts construction; (7) "Double Thousand Plan" construction; (8) students' participation in innovation and entrepreneurship education; (9) professors and associate professors carry out teaching research and participate in teaching reform and construction; (10) undergraduate students publish papers publicly as the first author/corresponding author; (11) international (overseas) exchanges and cooperation between teachers and students.

Through the study, the leadership team of the college has a deep understanding of the significance and process of undergraduate education and teaching review and evaluation. They have reached a consensus on how to use the review and evaluation indicators as a basis to revise the upcoming undergraduate training program, comprehensively improve the college's undergraduate education and teaching level, and thereby improve the quality of talent training in the college.
