At the same time, the elimination of absolute poverty in China has also triggered heated discussions in the international community and academic circles. Whether the "China Model" of the Chinese government's poverty alleviation work can become a successful practice for other countries to deal with poverty, whether China will encounter more difficulties and obstacles on the road to poverty alleviation and rural revitalization in the future, and the impact of China's development model on the international community have become issues that experts and scholars urgently need to solve. Based on this,The meeting conducted in-depth discussions on China’s policies and practices in the process of poverty alleviation, evaluation of poverty alleviation achievements, value of experience promotion, and expectations for the prospects of rural revitalization. Experts and scholars expressed their opinions and actively discussed, and the atmosphere of the meeting was lively.

Experts and scholars hold two different attitudes towards the evaluation of China's current achievements in poverty alleviation, the prospects for rural revitalization, and China's policies and practices in the process of poverty alleviation, and those that require continued efforts. On the one hand, scholars fully affirmed China's great efforts and brilliant achievements in poverty alleviation, and praised China's outstanding contributions to world poverty alleviation; on the other hand, they also expressed concerns about the problems, obstacles and sustainability that China may face as it continues to explore poverty alleviation policies and practices. Scholars suggest that after China completes the task of eliminating absolute poverty, it needs to pay more attention to the issue of relative poverty in our country, optimize poverty alleviation policies from the grassroots level, further integrate the rural revitalization strategy, and continue to improve people's living standards and happiness in the new era and period.
