The theme of this lecture is "Joint Experimental Methods and Public Policy Evaluation". Teacher Yang Wenhui from the w88 casino of Government of Peking University was specially invited to give the lecture. The lecture was hosted by teacher Jiang Hanchen and attended by young teachers, doctoral students, and graduate students from the w88 casino.

Teacher Yang Wenhui has long been engaged in the research fields of public policy analysis, Chinese politics, comparative political economics and other fields, especially focusing on local governance in China, exploring how local governance systems and policies shape the behavior and incentives of micro individuals. Papers have been published in British Journal of Political Science, China Quarterly, Government, Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, Public Administration, Public Administration Review, World Development and other journals.

In the lecture, Teacher Yang first systematically explained common joint experiments, key points of joint experiment design, and analysis methods of experimental data. On this basis, Teacher Yang combined two typical research cases closely following China's governance practices to demonstrate the application process of the joint experimental method in real policy scenarios, dismantling the entire process from research design, data collection to result interpretation. At the same time, he shared the difficulties and challenges encountered during the research process as well as key issues that must be paid attention to in practical applications. During the interactive session, Teacher Yang Wenhui had in-depth exchanges with the teachers and students present, patiently and meticulously answered various academic questions raised by everyone, and further deepened the teachers and students' understanding and cognition of the joint experimental method.

This lecture is rich in content, clear in logic, and has both theoretical and practical significance. Through Teacher Yang’s professional explanation and case sharing, the participating teachers and students gained a more systematic and in-depth understanding of the theoretical basis, design logic and application boundaries of the joint experimental method.
