The lecture was delivered by Professor Xiu Gang, deputy director of the Teaching Steering Committee for Foreign Languages and Literatures in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education, chairman of the Japanese Subcommittee, president of Zhejiang Yuexiu Foreign Languages College, and a senior scholar in the field of translation studies, and chaired by Cai Yinghui, deputy director of the Academic Publications Department.
