Wu Weixing: The School of Finance of the University of International Business and Economics was the predecessor of the Chinese School of Finance, in80In the late 2019, the Party and state leaders realized that China's economic and w88 system reform needed a large number of w88 talents, and led the People's Bank of China to organize China9A w88 institution founded the China Finance Academy. The School of Finance of the University of International Business and Economics is now divided into three majors, one is finance. The third major is investment. The major is both old and new, because the investment department was established at the beginning of the founding of the former School of Finance. The three majors all adhere to the concept of big finance, that is, micro finance should understand macro finance, and macro finance should understand microscopy. All the master's degree in finance, whether it is a master's degree in finance or a master's degree in finance, must be opened up. On the basis of basic courses, each student can choose the professional direction according to their interests. Looking at our doctoral students, the current doctoral teaching has basically opened up several major professional courses, and then the courses are set up in various professional directions for students to choose.
Bachelor's employment destination: w88 institutions, government state-owned enterprises, foreign enterprises and the "four major" accounting firms
Host: We learned that there are very distinctive ones, so let’s discuss them one by one. What is the employment situation our students face after graduation?
Wu Weixing: You are right. Graduation every year is a challenge for every scholar. As you said, the w88 industry is a golden stage, and in my opinion, the w88 industry is a relatively long golden stage. Employment is not a big problem for our school. Our current undergraduate students are probably1/3Employment,1/3's classmates are studying abroad,1/3Study in Peking University, Tsinghua University and my own schools in the country. Cultivate students' goal: Leading the development of China's w88 industry
Host: w88 institutions give people a very glamorous feeling and are very affordable in all aspects. Therefore, employment is no longer the purpose or goal of our students' development direction, because it has become a foundation for us. So where are our directions and goals for cultivating students?
Wu Weixing: I just said that our "Outline" should lead the development of China's w88 industry and let our students become the seeds of China's w88 industry. Our goal is to hope that students will quickly gain a foothold in the w88 industry, especially to have multiple abilities. First, ability must be able to grasp the development context of finance and economy, and second, have sufficient quantitative technology. There is a big difference between current finance and traditional finance. Traditional finance needs to master some principles and basic principles to work well. However, in today's finance is becoming more and more mechanized, and quantification is a basic ability. I hope our students can make a difference in this regard.
Finance major development trend: more and more professional+Abroadly comprehensive
Host: So you mentioned just now that traditional finance and modern finance are very different. How do our w88 majors develop and context appear in the international context?
Wu Weixing: From the perspective of the current international and domestic forms, we have become more and more professional in the development process. We are very different from finance, economy and politics. However, with the development of the times, the challenges of finance to w88 talents are gradually increasing. Its comprehensiveness is very great. Those who study finance must understand the entire economy and the basic common sense of politics. Therefore, our school is also gradually opening up some of our courses in the entire economy, finance and politics, including law.
In addition, from the perspective of international development, I just mentioned quantitative technology and data processing technology. Both aspects require w88 talents to have sufficient basic knowledge. For example, the development of big data in Internet finance is the foundation of the entire Internet.
Host: Expertise in these sector segments should be involved.
Wu Weixing: The requirements we give to students are that while we understand finance, we must at least understand one subject that has nothing to do with finance, such as natural science knowledge. Moreover, the thinking of natural science is different from that of finance. Finance must serve the real economy. We must understand the real economy. At least one natural science will make it easy to establish a very close connection with enterprises in the future.
Host: What you said is very important, it is a very close process of combining with the market and the enterprise. You just said that besides your major, you should understand a knowledge that is not related to the major, and is relatively specialized. How to understand this, how to understand this process?
Wu Weixing: For example, we recently hired a national wind energy expert to talk about how to utilize wind energy. We need to master how wind is produced and what natural principles are. But we need to know what role this industry plays in the entire energy industry from history to the present, and what status is. These natural scientists have made developments in this field and what impact has they had on the entire energy industry.
Equipment of an alumni mentor for each student
Host: Finance has become our basic subject, and these professional related professional disciplines are the direction of interest for our future development. How does it reflect it when it is implemented in the subject teaching of our college?
Wu Weixing: A feature of undergraduates is that each student is equipped with an alumni supervisor. That is, alumni who have graduated use modern information technology means, such as when they come to chat with students. In fact, our alumni have them in all industries. They communicate with students to improve students' basic qualities in all walks of life. In addition, we invite some senior personnel from various industries to tell students about the development of their industry every week.
Host: What is the degree and recognition of the lectures for students?
Wu Weixing: Students are actually very picky. If the ones we invite are not the top majors in this industry, they will definitely not recognize them. So we are under a lot of pressure. We try to invite the most well-known, influential and insightful experts in every industry. These people come to the students very welcome, and they are often full. We have grown from small classrooms and then become bigger.

Wu Weixing: It should be said that students have a wide range of interests, because we cannot see which industry develops better in the future and which industry develops worse in the future. Of course, we will discuss with our alumni. The topic that our alumni association often discusses is what knowledge students should learn. They will give us some suggestions. They will suggest that we quickly find talents in each field in the school, and then invite them to teach our students this knowledge.
College Features: International faculty of "Invite in and go out"
Host: Where are the advantages and characteristics of our finance college’s major reflected?
吴卫星: Our School of Finance is called the School of Finance of the University of International Business and Economics. First of all, our internationalization is very good, and the entire faculty is also very international. The new teachers recruited every year are basically teachers from abroad, traditional domestic and mainland-trained doctoral students. We require each doctor to have at least overseas experience. In addition, our students, the school proposes the concept of international exposure, and our students should have close contact in international schools and even some international companies.
College Features: Integrate international vision and thinking into the entire process of talent training
Other is that the proportion of our international students is very high, and our school ranks among the top in the country in terms of international students. And this international student involves roughly140Many countries, so the entire student's international vision and international student exchanges are very advantageous. Host: You just said that inviting in and going out, how do you view our students, and how do teachers view the current development situation in China?

Columbia University generally chose students as teaching assistants and research assistants, and of course there were also rewards. This is very important for students. What kind of school do they choose? At first, they might choose some comprehensive universities. Later, they thought that students who choose the University of International Economics and Business are the best. Why? Because our school’s students are very well connected with international culture, they can communicate with some foreign schools and these students, which is basically seamless.
Host: This increases two bargaining chips.
Wu Weixing: Moreover, our academic level is also good, so we have been very popular in these universities. Many of our students even studied there for a while and many of the professors invited them to ask them to apply for a doctorate in our place and continue to stay in their university, so they have been very supportive by foreign universities.
From the perspective of foreign universities coming to our school, foreign universities have had some different responses because they come from different regions. In general, our students are very active, and compared with international students, our students are even more active. Generally speaking, our mainland students work harder, harder, and not so pioneering.
Host: You just heard two key points. Students’ vision and way of thinking determine some international attention to our students. How do we focus on this aspect of cultivation in the process of training?
Wu Weixing: For example, taking the Finance School as an example, in terms of w88 English, there are teachers from our traditional foreign language colleges and English schools to participate in the teaching, and our own teachers have also set up a w88 English course. And among some of our very important courses, some courses are taught in Chinese, and the second half are taught in English.
College Features: Closely combine theory and practice

One of their evaluation criteria is whether it is closely related to reality and whether it is closely related to industry development. If our reform does not conform to this direction, the professor will reject our resolution. Therefore, throughout our development process, we have always devoted a lot of energy to practical teaching.

College features: international cooperation and exchanges to connect with internationally renowned universities and institutions
主持人: Through your introduction just now, I found that the internationalization of the University of International Business and Economics has become a very significant label for it. How do we reflect international cooperation and exchanges? Can you give us a detailed introduction?
Wu Weixing: Every year, we will send some students to some foreign universities from the entire school. Generally speaking, it is divided into several types: one is a year of visit, which means that he is abroad for one year of four years. There are also short-term visits, such as summer and winter vacations, where teachers lead a team to visit first-class universities abroad.
In addition, we also establish extensive connections with other universities, such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, and famous universities such as Germany Gothic University, and our students can also do1+1, which means studying in our country for one year and abroad for one year, and getting a master's degree abroad. We have also worked together for several years in this regard, and our courses are gradually developing projects with foreign universities to recognize credits, so that each student can easily be in line with such famous universities in the world.
Doctoral student admission direction: monetary economics, w88 organization, w88 economics and w88 engineering
Host: In every bit of our daily life, we are all cultivating students' habits and a model to adapt to such market development and changes. So what is the admission status of our doctoral students?
Wu Weixing: The admission of our doctoral students is approximately14-15About people, the doctoral students in our School of Finance are considered to be relatively small. Maybe our school has more opportunities in Beijing, so there are not so many people who are willing to study for a doctorate. Cultivate compound talents who are microfinance, quantitative capabilities, and understand industries and industries
主持人: In fact, with the continuous income of China's economic reform and the vigorous development of the financial market, the lack of talents is an important direction that we urgently need to consider. As a unit of talent training, how can we deal with the current situation of market development?
Wu Weixing: This problem is divided into two aspects. On the one hand, from the perspective of the enterprise, I have been working in a financial enterprise for a short period of time and found that we cannot recruit suitable talents. Now in school, I find that it is not easy for us students to find a very suitable job.
From the future of development, we generally divide finance into macro finance and micro finance. In the era of planned economy, our finance is basically macro finance, and micro finance is minimal.10%, but we think the future trend is getting bigger and bigger. So from our perspective from the school, we must gradually increase the cultivation of micro-financial talents to avoid the mismatch between the talents needed in our society and the talents trained by our school.
On the other hand, we have repeatedly emphasized that it is quantification, which means that our current traditional finance quantitative foundation does not attach so much importance to the quantitative ability, but now it is the macro finance field or the micro finance field. Of course, the quantitative technology required by this major in our financial engineering is very high, but we have also noticed that monetary economics, as well as commercial bank management, international finance and corporate finance, these modules are not exactly the same modules as financial engineering. The basis for their quantification is getting higher and higher, and the ability to analyze data and model, the ability to achieve higher and higher requirements in this aspect.
I mentioned the third aspect just now. We must combine it with industries. Our financial discipline cannot be just playing within the field of finance. When finance needs to serve the real economy, we must understand various industries. That is, I just said that our cultivation of compound talents should be further strengthened, so that our students must understand industries and industries.
Corporate professional talent training: guide students to discover and solve problems
Host: So you mentioned just now that in the era of planned economy, we mainly focus on the macro perspective, and now we are increasingly turning to the micro perspective. So what do you think are the core key points of professional talents that focus on this aspect?
Wu Weixing: We may have considered the issue from a national perspective, what is the issuance of our country's currency like, how our country should control inflation, international finance should deal with foreign countries, and how our finance is like, it turns out that we are considering these issues. But now we must have a considerable number of students who need to consider what the financing issues of our company will look like in the future development and how to manage our cash flow.
In addition, with the development of China's economy, family wealth is accumulated more and more, and individual wealth is accumulated more and more. It turns out that our wealth may be more concentrated in the hands of countries and enterprises. Now a lot of this wealth may be concentrated in the hands of ordinary people. At this time, we have to consider the problem for them. In fact, while considering problems for these families, we can solve the problem of our own talent training.
For example, consumer finance is a very high field now. Now many foreign banks are grabbing our high net worth customers. How do we treat these financial institutions in our country? Also, we are aging, and this problem is becoming more and more serious. Whether our financial institutions can help our people solve these problems and help our school board solve these problems is all issues that we need to consider in the school, and students need to be guided to consider in this aspect.
In other words, the cultivation of microfinance is to guide students to discover and solve problems, and then our teachers will give them some assistance, and believe that our students can make a difference in the field of microfinance.
Host: It can be seen that with the deepening of China's economic reform, the transformation of modes and structure adjustment have become more and more deeply rooted in various industries and fields, including the cultivation of our financial talents, and has also begun to keep pace with market-oriented development.
