This determines that the fundamental task of socialism is to liberate and develop social productive forces and continuously improve people's lives. The key for China to solve all problems lies in relying on its own development. Over the past 30 years, we have not only unswervingly adhered to the strategic thinking that development is the overriding principle, firmly focused on economic construction, constantly liberated and developed social productive forces, and constantly consolidated the material foundation of our country's socialist system, we have also unswervingly adhered to the four basic principles and persisted in reform and opening up. The party's basic line is a major magic weapon for rejuvenating, building and strengthening the country, a political guarantee for achieving scientific development, the lifeline of the party and the country, and the happiness line of the people. We must always adhere to the Party's basic line and be unwavering in our thinking and unswerving in our actions.
