Good evening everyone!
The second International Presidents Forum, organized by the China Overseas Talent Development Foundation and hosted by the w88 casino, is coming to an end! However, the exchanges, friendship and cooperation we have established together at this forum will never come to an end! This forum is an unprecedented event! There are from all over the world10countries,61university,46of educational institutions, businesses and government organizations180representatives attended the meeting. This morning we listened to wonderful speeches by seven principals. In the four sub-forums this afternoon, there were80representatives participated in the lively discussion. Our forum focused on one center, explored three major themes, and reached eight major consensuses.
One of the centers we focus on is how to cultivate international talents who can conduct cross-cultural exchanges and have international capabilities in the context of economic and financial globalization and the wave of internationalization of higher education. The three major themes we explore are "Innovative Cooperation and Development of Education". These three themes are interrelated. If we compare development to a car, innovation and cooperation are the two wheels. As far as development is concerned, it is for the all-round development of our talents, and at the same time, the development of education is not only the goal we pursue, but also a process of continuous improvement that we are committed to; as far as innovation is concerned, it requires us to carry out continuous, systematic, and integrated innovation with a systematic perspective; as far as cooperation is concerned, it also includes all-round cooperation between different countries, different universities, and different institutions!

Through the joint efforts and discussions of all of us, we have reached eight major consensuses:
The first consensus is that in the context of economic and financial globalization, we need to cultivate international talents. This is our fundamental mission. Universities at different levels, types of universities and educational institutions can all find their own irreplaceable positions in the process of realizing this fundamental mission;
The second consensus is that we must examine and grasp the standards of international talents from a comprehensive development perspective. If we reason based on the theme of our forum, "Innovation, Cooperation and Development," the international talents we cultivate must also be able to innovate, cooperate, and develop. International talents must have innovative spirit, will and ability. International talents must have team spirit, be able to communicate and cooperate, and be able to cooperate. International talents must also have the ability to learn, develop and improve themselves. International talents must also have a scientific and reasonable knowledge structure, ability structure and quality structure. The financial crisis tells us many stories. For example, some people say "Greedy Wall Street". Therefore, for international talents, in modern times we must focus on cultivating their high morals and social responsibility;
The third consensus is that if we want to cultivate international talents, we need to build an international talent training model. We jointly discussed the international sharing of teaching resources. We have discussed the internationalization of the entire education and teaching. For example, we require our students to have overseas study and internship experience. We have also discussed the establishment of international teaching project cooperation focusing on education, and using projects as links to conduct international exchanges and cooperation. We also talked about the mutual recognition of university credits internationally, and we also discussed the international assessment of education quality;
The fourth consensus is that in order to build an international talent training model, international cooperation is necessary. We need to establish bilateral and multilateral cooperative relationships between different universities, universities and educational institutions, and universities and enterprises. We need to establish different cooperation models between university education, vocational education and secondary education;
The fifth point of consensus is that if we want to cultivate international talents, we must carry out continuous educational innovation. Innovation in education and higher education must be carried out in all aspects such as education and teaching models, education systems, education management systems, and education processes. Innovation in education, especially higher education, is not only a requirement of the times and social development, but we must also be forward-looking to lead the development of the times and society;
The sixth consensus is that the inherent requirement for international talent cultivation is the internationalization of education. Therefore, the internationalization of education and higher education is an inevitable trend that goes hand in hand with the globalization of economy and finance;
The seventh point of consensus is to correctly grasp and handle the relationship between localization and internationalization in the process of education internationalization. First of all, internationalization is not one-way. For example, one country simply imports or one country simply exports. It is two-way, a mutual learning and mutual improvement. At the same time, some people say that local things are also international, but not all local things are international. Only excellent local things are international;
The eighth consensus is that the International Principals Forum has built a good platform for the internationalization of higher education and for cooperation and exchanges between us!
