The content includes studying the historical changes of Beijing villages, and preparing the place name plans for the three new cities of Tongzhou, Daxing and Pinggu. In view of the main problems in the management of place names, suggestions are put forward to protect the cultural heritage of place names, scientifically plan urban and rural place names; formulate a list of place names protection, declare intangible cultural heritage; improve the legal system and manage place names according to law.
