The meeting was hosted by Professor Simon Evenett of the University of St. Gallen. Dean Tu Xinquan pointed out in his speech that subsidies and other related industrial policies are usually controversial, but green-related subsidy policies have their own particularities. He also analyzed, judged, and discussed whether climate change-related subsidies complied with WTO w88 rules.
