Labor Education | Teachers and students from the National Development and Reform Commission went on a labor practice cooking trip

At the beginning of the event, retired teacher Ru Luheng expressed a warm welcome to the teachers and students who participated in the event, and emphasized that labor education is an important part of the "simultaneous development of five educations" and is a key lesson in cultivating all-round development talents of "moral, intellectual, physical, artistic and labor". Later, Mr. Lei Liang, Secretary of the Retired Party Committee, emphasized the importance of labor education and encouraged students to learn in practice and grow in labor. Some made traditional crescent-shaped dumplings with neat edges and full fillings; some tried to make lifelike animal shapes; some folded the dumpling wrappers in half to make heart-shaped and flower-shaped dumplings; and some students made dumplings in the shape of steamed buns and siomai, in various shapes, and the event was full of laughter and fun.

  Although the students were not very skilled at the beginning, they continued to learn and improve in practice. They observed each other, learned from each other's strengths, and worked together to solve the problems they encountered. This mutual-helping learning atmosphere not only allows everyone to quickly master skills, but also makes the entire event full of fun and warmth. Next, the students put the carefully wrapped dumplings into the pot and started the cooking process. As pots of steaming dumplings came out of the pot, the faces of the students were filled with satisfaction and pride. The dumplings they made by themselves are a reflection of the fruits of labor. This activity allowed students to go out of the classroom and feel and appreciate the value of labor through their own hands.
