She clearly remembered that the day she arrived at the campus was a sunny day. The sun shone through the treetops and dappled the roads on the campus. A warm and energetic atmosphere enveloped her whole body. The beautiful campus scenery and advanced teaching facilities have deeply attracted her. When she carefully studied and understood the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important reply to the first batch of graduates studying in Xinjiang on campus, and saw the campus landmark of “Go where the motherland needs it most”, all this deeply touched Feng Xiaoqi’s heartstrings. She couldn't help but sigh that this place has attracted batches of outstanding builders, making them willing to take root here and contribute to the development of Xinjiang and the campus. It is a great honor and responsibility for her to be one of the many devotees who are determined to build the frontier.
Plow deep into the fertile soil of teaching and build a solid foundation for educating people
After Feng Xiaoqi came to Karamay, he served as the deputy dean of the w88 casino of Business Administration/w88 casino of Marxism on the campus. He was in charge of teaching and scientific research, and served as the head of the applied economics discipline and the head of the finance major. During the two years in charge of teaching, Feng Xiaoqi did a good job in the daily teaching organization and management of the college, strengthened classroom teaching management, established and improved the professional construction committee and teaching supervision system, and ensured that teaching work was carried out smoothly and orderly. With the strong support of the campus and college leaders, Feng Xiaoqi worked hard with the teachers to continuously improve the overall quality of the teaching team through the combination of "introduction" and "training". She actively introduces high-level teaching and scientific research talents, and has introduced two well-known domestic scholars as subject leaders. She has also established a teaching and scientific research team to better play the role of subject leaders in teaching and research. Two young postdocs have been introduced to the w88 casino, one of whom has already stayed on campus to work. Encourage young teachers to pursue doctoral degrees and provide them with support and assistance within our capabilities. From 2022 to 2025, seven young teachers in the applied economics discipline of the college have obtained on-the-job doctoral degrees.
As the person in charge of the discipline and major, she worked hard to promote the construction of the discipline and major, presided over the formulation and revision of the undergraduate and graduate training programs for finance; carried out research on the discipline and training program and the formulation of the "15th Five-Year Plan" applied economics discipline development plan; successfully launched the first enrollment of master's degree students in finance.
She actively explores teaching reform and the construction of economic and financial teaching laboratories. The project of "Construction of Economic and Financial Practical Teaching Laboratory under the Background of Digital Economy" was approved by the Ministry of Education as an industry-university collaborative education project and successfully completed and accepted. The teaching team of the college was organized to participate in the application for the 2023 w88 casino-level education and teaching achievement award. In her view, the goal of scientific research management is to create a better scientific research environment, strive to have more teachers approved for national, provincial and ministerial level projects, build provincial innovation teams, and harvest high-quality paper results. "Refined daily management, key breakthroughs in weak links, and clear guidance of key indicators" are her starting points for promoting the scientific research work of the college. In order to better promote academic exchanges, she actively participated in organizing and successfully hosted or hosted large-scale academic conferences such as the "4th Banking and Financial Intermediaries Forum", "The 21st Xinjiang Social Science Academic Annual Conference", "Optimizing the Legal Business Environment and Services to Ensure High-Quality Development", "Counterpart Aided Universities Academic Exchange Conference and Dr. Hu Yang Forum", and the first "Beijing-Xinjiang Three Schools Financial Academic Symposium". It has held various fund project application guidance lectures; led young teachers to participate in academic conferences inside and outside Xinjiang, organized more than 20 activities such as Populus euphratica lecture hall and Qinglan Academic Salon, attracting more than 1,000 teachers and students to participate, building a high-level academic exchange platform, and comprehensively helping young teachers improve their scientific research capabilities.

Although he is busy with administrative work, Feng Xiaoqi does not reduce his teaching workload, but always sticks to the front line of teaching. She taught over 400 hours of required courses for the "Macroeconomics" major and supervised 22 undergraduate thesis papers. In Feng Xiaoqi's class, she always presents exciting courses to students with full enthusiasm and rigorous attitude. She encourages students to actively participate in class discussions and express their own views and opinions. In her class, students can speak freely and express their opinions. This active classroom atmosphere not only stimulates students' interest and enthusiasm for learning, but also cultivates their thinking and expression skills. At the same time, Feng Xiaoqi also attaches great importance to "starting with details and implementing them practically." She fully understands that every student’s foundation and situation are different, so she needs to teach students in accordance with their aptitude and be patient. For students with weak foundations, she always patiently explains knowledge points and answers doubts to them; for outstanding students, she encourages them to explore in depth and broaden their horizons. It is this meticulous teaching attitude and teaching method that has won her widespread praise and love from students. Her courses not only allowed students to learn professional knowledge, but also made them feel the warmth and power of education.
In order to enable students to better apply the knowledge they have learned to the analysis of real-life problems, Feng Xiaoqi attaches great importance to students' scientific research competitions. In the past three years, she has guided more than 100 students to participate in the College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program and competitions such as the "CP Cup" National Market Survey and Analysis Competition, "Three Entrepreneurship Competition", Internet+, Challenge Cup, National University Business Elite Challenge Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, Energy Economic Competition, Statistical Modeling Competition, Career Planning Competition, etc., and has won more than 20 national, provincial and ministerial awards.
