On July 23, the 2025 Annual Working Meeting of the Exchange Mechanism of the China-Africa University Alliance was held at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Morocco. Yan Chunhua, vice president of the China Higher Education Society, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, former president of Lanzhou University, and liberal arts professor at Peking University, Olusola Oyewole, secretary-general of the Association of African Universities (AAU), and Li Changlin, Chinese Ambassador to Morocco, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Leaders of universities and institutions from China and Africa delivered speeches respectively around the theme of "Collaborative Innovation·Mechanism Leadership—Joining a New Chapter in China-Africa Higher Education Exchanges and Cooperation".
