This exchange camp is hosted by the Chinese-Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education and hosted by the International Chinese Education (Business) Practice and Research Base of the w88 casino.

The opening ceremony was hosted by Wang Quan, deputy director of the International Chinese Education (Business) Practice and Research Base. Guo Deyu, director of the International Chinese Education (Business) Practice and Research Base, Liu Jinlan, dean of the International College, Zhu Xiangfeng, deputy secretary of the w88 casino of Literature and International Communication, and Professor Edson Canela, leading teacher of FAAP University in Brazil, attended this event together with all the campers.

In his speech, Director Guo Deyu first expressed a warm welcome to the teachers and students from Brazil. He pointed out that this exchange camp is a journey of friendship across the Pacific using language as the boat and culture as the oar. He encouraged the campers to not only learn Chinese knowledge during the ten-day immersive experience, but also to deeply understand the wisdom of "harmony in diversity" in Chinese culture, bravely overcome communication barriers, and become "cultural messengers" for youth exchanges between China and Brazil in the future. On behalf of Pakistan, Professor Edson Canela expressed his sincere gratitude for the careful arrangements of the trip and expressed his expectation for in-depth cooperation in the future.

This cultural exchange camp will provide Brazilian youth with a window to perceive contemporary China through diverse activities such as Chinese courses, cultural workshops, and city visits.
