Professor Deng Rubing, Dean of the w88 casino of Literature and International Communication, attended this event with the International Chinese Education Delegation of the w88 casino, and witnessed a dialogue of civilizations across mountains and seas with teachers and students from the African continent. The wonderful moments of the event were reported by the China Central Radio and Television Station’s Chinese language learning overseas new media account “Learn Chinese”, further expanding its international influence.

This event was jointly planned and executed by Shen Yage and Chen Zhixin, volunteers of the Confucius Institute at the University of Malawi in w88 casino. From event process design to on-site layout, from program selection to interactive sessions, the two volunteers invested in preparations several weeks in advance and carefully guided the students in rehearsals, from pronunciation correction to polishing stage performance, laying a solid foundation for the wonderful presentation of the event.
The event was divided into two parts: "Chinese Talent Show" and "Chinese Questions and Answers". The atmosphere was warm and applause continued. In the talent show, students from the Confucius Institute showed the charm of language in various forms such as Chinese songs, poetry recitations, and rap, and used fluent Chinese to convey their understanding and love for Chinese culture.

The Chinese knowledge question and answer session set off another climax. The students raised their hands enthusiastically and answered the questions actively. The questions covered Chinese knowledge, food culture, and China-Malaysia friendly relations, etc., which not only tested their language ability, but also demonstrated their extensive concern and deep interest in Chinese culture.

At the end, teachers and students from China and Malaysia sang "The Moon Represents My Heart" together. When the familiar melody sounded, teachers and students with different languages and cultural backgrounds expressed their feelings through songs and understood each other heart to heart, pushing the whole event to a climax, and also brought the "Confucius Institute Day" event to a successful conclusion with the melodious singing.

The successful holding of this event not only vividly demonstrated the professionalism of our college’s volunteer teachers in cultural dissemination and teaching practice, but also reflected the important value of the Confucius Institute as a platform for cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.
Stay true to your original intention and keep doing your best. Looking forward to the future, we will continue to uphold our original aspiration of education, deeply cultivate the cause of international Chinese education, use language as a bridge and culture as a boat, and continue to contribute wisdom and strength to promote mutual learning among civilizations and build a community with a shared future for mankind.(Written by: Ye Tianye Reviewed by: Qu Jiawen)
