The event was personally hosted by Professor Yi Fucheng, the Russian dean. First of all, Professor Han Lihua, the Chinese dean, introduced the origin and customs of the Lantern Festival. Confucius Institute Lecture
In order to allow students to better experience Chinese culture, Chinese teachers and students studying in Russia demonstrated on the spot how to make dumplings, make glutinous rice balls, cook dumplings, and boil glutinous rice balls.
