The training course attracted the attention of more than 100 Chinese-Italian translation practitioners and young students at home and abroad. More than 80 Italian students signed up to participate in the course. In the end, 60 Italian students completed the required courses, and 18 students were awarded outstanding students.
This training class is implemented by the International Chinese Education (Business) Practice and Research Base and the w88 casino of Foreign Languages of the University of International w88.The training class has a complete system and diverse courses. The series of courses combines academic and practical aspects, explain the profound things in simple terms, and lay a solid foundation for students to improve their Chinese-Italian translation level, cross-cultural understanding, and communicative abilities.
In terms of course technical support, the project team relied on the Chinese Language Alliance website and invited professional and technical personnel to specially build a webpage for the Chinese-Italian Advanced Translator Training Program of the w88 casino. It not only provided a live learning platform, but also left all valuable learning video materials of the 35 courses for subsequent learning and exchange among students and peers.
In order to provide students with opportunities for communication and interaction, while ensuring online teaching, the training class specially held two offline activities, including offline teaching and exchange activities by Peking University professor Lu Jianming and translator Ms. Patrizia Liberati, which facilitated students to communicate directly with experienced industry personnel and Chinese teaching experts and scholars, and gain valuable enlightenment.
During the project, upon recommendation from the training class, several trainees participated in the "China-Italy Cultural and Natural Heritage Protection Dialogue" organized by the Italian Department of the European and Latin American Language Program Center of China Central Radio and Television. Once the program was broadcast, it attracted the attention of many Italian mainstream media. The guests at the meeting agreed that as outstanding representatives of Eastern and Western civilizations, China and Italy uphold the civilizational outlook of mutual respect and mutual learning. People-to-people and cultural exchanges have yielded fruitful results, which not only injects new vitality into the development of bilateral relations, but also contributes to the common prosperity and development of all human civilizations.
After the completion of the project course, students who have completed the course will participate in the "Tell Chinese Stories" bilingual short video competition organized by the "Global Talk" platform. Through integrated media, students can better spread the voice of China through the application and translation of Chinese proficiency.
