w88 casino News Network (Reporter Exceeding the group)12日夜7Point, the first lecture series on property law: "Life, Entering the Era of Property Rights" was held in the Ningyuan International Conference Hall on the third floor.

This lecture is delivered by teacher Mei Xiaying from w88 casino. Mei Xiaying is one of the subject leaders of w88 casino’s law w88 casino and one of the three teachers in w88 casino selected for the national “New Century Outstanding Talent Support Plan”. He is committed to research in the fields of property law, tort law and other fields, and has made great achievements. As a legislative expert, he participated in the drafting of the "Property Law Draft of the People's Republic of China" and was responsible for the "ownership" part of the "Expert Suggestions on Property Law".

"Property Law" is a law related to13A law that is closely related to hundreds of millions of Chinese people; it is a law that took 13 years from drafting to voting; it is the first law since the founding of New China12This law is open to the public for soliciting opinions; it is the most reviewed draft law in the legislative history of the National People's Congress from the first to the seventh trial. The promulgation of such a long-running, controversial and important law has aroused widespread concern in society. In this lecture, Mei Xiaying introduced all aspects of property law in detail, leading students to approach property law and enter the era of property rights.

Teacher Mei Xiaying first introduced the meaning and basic spirit of property law. The Property Law is a basic law, a prerequisite for determining property ownership and transactions, and a law that maintains the basic order of society. However, the country has previously promulgated the Market Economy Law, Contract Law, Securities Law, and Company Law, but has yet to promulgate the Property Law. In fact, the concept of property rights is not new. It has always existed as an invisible force in the social economy. However, many people do not understand property rights and confuse "property" and "logistics" with them. Property rights is a legal term that is closely related to citizens' property, life and rights. When citizens' property cannot be protected, it will cause social instability. The Property Law is the beginning of a legal society, marks China's entry into an era of rights, and embodies the content of building a harmonious socialist society. The state has established strong rights to personal property through the Property Law, giving citizens weapons to deal with interference with their rights.

The formulation of the "Property Rights Law" went through a long and tortuous process. Mei Xiaying then introduced the students to the promulgation and implementation process of the "Property Rights Law". He explained the difficulties encountered in the formulation process and some legal knowledge in simple and easy-to-understand terms. For example, public interests are too broad and difficult to define; value judgment issues cannot be formalized, etc. He also focused on introducing and discussing several common life issues related to property rights law, such as demolition issues and nail-biting households, parking space ownership, house ownership, construction land, ownership of lost property, etc. Mei Xiaying turned difficult legal terminology into vivid stories and metaphors, attracting the audience with his straightforward personality and humorous conversation.

Finally, teacher Mei Xiaying discussed the technical issues of property law and the shortcomings of property law. He emphasized that the basic spirit of law is rationality. At the same time, he also proposed from a scholar's perspective that since property law has not achieved institutional innovation, it is only the end of the old era, but it does not mean the beginning of a new era.

After Teacher Mei Xiaying’s speech, there was a question session for students. The audience present raised their own opinions and questions about property law or matters related to the legal system in daily life. Although some of the questions seemed immature, this also reflected the enthusiasm of college students for legal knowledge and the spirit of learning.

After the lecture, Mei Xiaying was interviewed by reporters on the issues between college students and the law.

Q: As far as you know, do current college students have a strong legal awareness and is legal knowledge widespread enough?

Answer: By giving students public courses, I feel that students’ legal awareness is very poor. This is due to the improvement of legal professionalism, and it also reflects the quality of students. At present, the concept of citizens has not yet changed to the legal track, which means that students are not aware of the role of law in work and life. This may also have something to do with their social practice.

Question: What significance does the promulgation of the Property Law and other laws have to college students?

Answer: Because it involves thousands of households, everyone's vital interests, the protection of their basic rights, and the maintenance of ways to use their property to increase value, so this is a basic life skill. Before this law existed, we adopted an empirical approach and a sporadic system approach. Now that we have this law, it is very effective. In addition, the property rights law also expresses the country's attitude, that is, we must continue to move forward on the path of socialist market economy and give the people strong confidence. This will have a great impact on the values of the entire society and the formation of people's goals.

Q: There are many professional terms in law that are difficult to understand. How can college students enhance their legal accomplishment and legal awareness?

Answer: It is impossible to require students to understand all laws, but they must have a good understanding of the laws that are relevant to them. For example, when dealing with property rights laws in real estate, you must memorize them condition by condition! If you don’t know how to memorize it, you won’t be able to get into real estate at all. If you enhance your legal awareness, you must fight for your rights and cherish your rights. Defending one's rights is not only one of one's rights and interests, but also a social obligation. We must improve our civic qualities. China often lacks a sense of citizenship and only has the concept of the people.

From Mei Xiaying’s interview, we can deeply understand the urgency and necessity of college students to enhance their legal awareness. As contemporary college students who are at the forefront of the times, they have the obligation and responsibility to understand the law and enhance their legal literacy. This is to realize your rights and fulfill your obligations. I hope that students can pay attention to the law from around them and actively join in the study and popularization of law.
