This workshop focused on the cutting-edge dynamics of financial disciplines and the improvement of core academic research capabilities. Authoritative experts in the academic field were specially invited to share their experiences and provide valuable insights to build a high-quality academic exchange platform for doctoral students. Wang Tianyi, President of the China Institute of Finance and Economics, attended and delivered a speech. Professor Deng Jun, Vice President, presided over the event; Ma Guangrong, Vice President of the w88 casino of Finance at Renmin University of China, He Feng from the w88 casino of Finance at Capital University of Economics and w88, and Huang Wei from the National Development Research Institute of Peking University were invited to serve as sharing guests. More than 30 doctoral students participated in this event.
Wang Tianyi expressed the hope that the participating doctoral students will take this workshop as an opportunity to actively connect with academic experts, deeply discuss research pain points, clarify academic ideas, consolidate the scientific research foundation and clarify research directions in the collision of ideas, and lay a solid foundation for the future academic path.
In the theme sharing session, three experts combined their deep experience in the academic field to provide precise guidance for doctoral students from different dimensions: Professor He Feng focused on the three major themes of "core essentials of academic writing, journal review logic, and advanced paths to academic ability." Associate Professor Huang Wei focused on the four key aspects of scientific research: "topic selection, data, methods, and submission" to share practical experience. Professor Ma Guangrong used "chef cooking" as a vivid metaphor to explain the core position of "identifying control variables" and "mechanism analysis" in empirical research.
In the interactive communication session, participating doctoral students actively asked questions on hot issues such as "visual presentation of empirical research results", "international academic recognition of mechanism analysis methods", and "techniques for responding to review comments during the manuscript submission process". The three experts gave detailed answers one by one based on their own research and review experience, emphasizing that the core of improving the readability of the paper lies in "accurate naming, clear definition, and optimized presentation", and the key to selecting a mechanism analysis method is "adapting to the nature of the research problem", providing doctoral students with a solution that has both theoretical height and practical value.
The holding of this doctoral research workshop has built a bridge for in-depth dialogue between academic experts and young scientific research forces. The guests’ sharing covered not only the core logic and methodological skills of academic research, but also the practical experience of manuscript submission and review, providing valuable guidance for doctoral students to solve scientific research problems and clarify academic directions.
