First of all, Teacher Lu Chuang introduced the background and purpose of this lecture to the students. April 15 this year is the 6th National Security Education Day. The long-term stability of the country cannot be separated from the attention of all people on national security. Taking this opportunity, we can learn about relevant knowledge about national security and provide further guarantee for national development. He started with the film, television and literary works that the students were interested in, and through detailed and vivid introductions and explanations, he helped the students deepen their understanding of the original professional concepts.
Later, in order to let the students more intuitively understand the importance of maintaining national security, teacher Lu Chuang used different cases in history and reality to analyze the pros and cons. The Three Heroes of Longtan at the beginning of the last century are a positive case. They made special contributions to the defense of the Party Central Committee and were highly praised by Premier Zhou Enlai. However, Liu Liankun, Guo Wanjun, Li Bin and others knew the law and broke the law, causing immeasurable damage to national interests, and finally received the punishment they deserved. They are presented here as negative teaching materials, which serve as warnings and admonitions. They also convey to students the important value concept that "national security is no small matter, and no one should ignore legal boundaries and engage in illegal and criminal acts."

In recent years, incidents involving college students’ involvement in endangering national security have emerged one after another. This issue has also attracted the attention and thinking of the students present. During the lecture, they deeply understood that behaviors such as leaking national secrets, defrauding important information, and serving as spies for other countries may seem very far away from the young student community, but they actually exist among some of their peers around them. As a growing group, college students receive information from everywhere. This information is generated in a free and relaxed public opinion environment. This results in some malicious and negative information being unable to be filtered and entering our field of vision, testing our ability to identify and analyze information. In addition, due to their immature minds and insufficient social experience, college students are often easily lost and go astray when faced with the temptation of complex environments. This requires young students to clarify their concepts of right and wrong, strengthen their ideals and beliefs, and proactively understand national security knowledge to effectively protect national security.
Finally, Teacher Lu Chuang also put forward some suggestions and methods on "how college students should safeguard national security" and hoped that students can improve their security awareness and become propagandists, defenders and supervisors of national security. At this point, this National Security Education Day theme lecture has concluded successfully. After this activity, I believe that students have understood the rights and obligations related to national security and can correctly identify behaviors that endanger national security. I also hope that students can carry forward the ideal spirit of dedication to the country and have the courage to fight against behaviors and criminals that undermine national security while ensuring their own safety, and implement the concept of defending national security to the end.
