It covers Zhang Qian’s mission to the Western Regions in the Western Han Dynasty, Zheng He’s Seven Voyages to the West in the Ming Dynasty, and the Maritime Silk Road. Twelve participating teams from different colleges focused on poetry recitation, and also incorporated stage elements such as song and dance performances, ancient music performances, and drama performances. Ten international students from 7 countries including Laos, Cambodia, and Indonesia recited "China with a Capital" together. They expressed their love for the land of China with full enthusiasm and sincere emotions.
"Although we are from different countries and may have some obstacles in expressing ourselves in Chinese, under the guidance of the teacher, we finally completed the recitation together." said Xu Jiayi, an international student from Laos.
Indonesian student Zhu Yongquan’s experience is that words can convey emotions. Through the poem "China with a Capital Capital", we can feel the Chinese people’s love for their country.
“International students’ participation in the competition is a highlight of this year’s ‘Chinese Singing’.” Xiu Meili, director of the Preparatory Department of the International College of the w88 casino, said that this not only helps them improve their Chinese proficiency, but is also an effective exploration of the college’s innovative Chinese teaching and telling Chinese stories to the outside world.
