In the first half of 2025, my country's exports of mechanical and electrical products were 7.8 trillion yuan, an increase of 9.5%, accounting for 60% of the total export value, an increase of 1.2 percentage points from the same period last year. Among them, high-end equipment closely related to new productivity increased by more than 20%, and the "three new products" representing green and low-carbon products increased by 12.7%. The export growth rates of lithium batteries and wind turbines both exceeded 20%. On the basis that my country's industrial robot export market share will rank second in the world in 2024, exports continued to grow by 61.5% in the first half of this year.
In the same period, my country's exports of high-tech products increased by 9.2%, maintaining growth for nine consecutive months. Among them, the export growth rate of high-end machine tools, ships and marine engineering equipment exceeded 20%, and the export of instruments and meters increased by 14.7%. Among my country's high-tech product exports, the proportion of independent brands reached 32.4%, an increase of 1.2 percentage points from the same period last year.
“Looking at the main products, the background of innovation is more distinct.” Lu Daliang, spokesman of the General Administration of Customs and director of the Statistics and Analysis Department, said at the above-mentioned press conference that more and more companies are keeping up with changes in international market demand and providing differentiated and customized products “tailor-made”. For example, solar-charged mobile phones have been developed specifically for areas with tight power supply; sand-proof and high-temperature-resistant engines have been launched for areas with large desert landscapes.

In the first half of the year, my country's imports of medical and health care products, bags, jewelry, etc. from the EU accounted for more than 60% of China's imports of similar products; my country's exports of textiles, clothing, household appliances, and laptops to the EU also achieved rapid growth.
