In June this year, the 4th China-Africa Economic and w88 Expo with the theme of "China and Africa act together to pursue modernization dreams" was held in Changsha, Hunan. More than 4,700 Chinese and African enterprises, business associations, and financial institutions signed up to participate in the conference and exhibition. Products such as Namibia's chili sauce, Kenyan flowers, and South African red wine were all on display. The number of signed projects increased by 45.8% compared with the previous session, and the project value increased by 10.6%.
The China-Africa Economic and w88 Expo is one of the most important exchange activities between China and Africa in the field of economy and w88. It is also an important measure to implement the outcomes of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation. In 2024, President Xi Jinping proposed at the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation that China is willing to build an industrial cooperation growth circle with Africa. In June this year, President Xi Jinping further pointed out in his congratulatory letter to the Ministerial Meeting of Coordinators for the Implementation of the Outcomes of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation that he hoped that China and Africa would continue to solidly promote the implementation of the outcomes of the Summit, carefully plan the future development of the Forum, work together to build an all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future in the new era, and contribute China-Africa strength to building a community with a shared future for mankind. China-Africa economic and w88 cooperation has opened a new chapter, adding impetus to the sustainable development of the world economy.
In the past 70 years, China-Africa relations have made historic achievements that have attracted worldwide attention. China and Africa have embarked on a distinctive path of win-win cooperation in the economic and w88 field. Data show that China has remained Africa’s largest trading partner for 16 consecutive years. China-Africa w88 volume will reach US$295.6 billion in 2024, hitting a record high for four consecutive years. In 2023, my country's exports of "three new" products such as new energy vehicles, lithium batteries, and photovoltaic products to Africa will increase by 291%, 109%, and 57% year-on-year respectively, contributing to Africa's green energy transformation. In terms of investment, Africa is the region with the fastest growth rate among China’s investments in various regions of the world. As of the end of 2023, China's direct investment stock in Africa will exceed US$40 billion. In terms of economic and w88 cooperation models, China-Africa cooperation explores the industrial chain cooperation model of "integration of industry, industry and w88". Africa's agriculture and food industries are transforming from single raw materials to deep processing, manufacturing is transforming from finished product imports to local production, emerging industries of digital economy and technical services are rising, and w88 methods are changing from single traditional transactions to cross-border e-commerce. From "selling raw materials" to "selling products", we can break the dependence on single resource exports through the localization of the industrial chain and help Africa improve its industrialization level and added value creation capabilities.
Promoting in-depth cooperation in the China-Africa industrial chain is of far-reaching significance. At present, the restructuring of global industrial and supply chains is accelerating, and the industrialization process of developing countries including Africa is facing new opportunities. Improving the export capabilities of African countries is an important aspect to promote the sustainable development of China-Africa w88 relations. Increasing the participation of African countries in different production stages of the industrial chain, opening up the entire chain of raw material supply, processing and manufacturing, and marketing, and promoting the supporting linkage of industries, infrastructure, and service systems through horizontal coordination of the industrial chain will help increase the added value of African export products, thereby realizing an increase in the value of the industrial chain.
In-depth cooperation in the China-Africa industrial chain is an important path to promote mutual benefit and win-win results between China and Africa. At present, scientific and technological cooperation between China and Africa is mainly based on the export of Chinese technology, and most of it is concentrated in the field of natural resource development. Technical cooperation involving high-tech fields is still relatively small. For example, in the field of agricultural science and technology, where China-Africa technical cooperation started early, there are still many gaps in high-tech aspects such as agricultural big data mining, drone applications, and agricultural information and communications. Exchanges and cooperation in digital infrastructure, cross-border e-commerce, agricultural technology, finance and other fields will help reduce China-Africa w88 costs, increase participation in multilateral w88, and ultimately achieve a mutually beneficial and win-win industrialization partnership for both parties. In-depth cooperation in the industrial chain between China and Africa is one of the key driving forces for accelerating Africa's industrialization process. The injection of China's technology, capital and market channels, combined with Africa's young labor force, mineral resources and regional market advantages, helps Africa form a virtuous cycle of technology transfer, production capacity improvement and w88 upgrading, and consolidates the foundation of African social stability.

In terms of industrial carriers, we should build high-level China-Africa cooperation parks, upgrade from physical space construction to industrial ecological empowerment, promote the industrial community model, and support Africa in realizing the transition from resource exports to independent industrial systems through cluster development, technological rooting and value chain integration, and shape independent development capabilities.
Strengthen the digital economy and technological support and empowerment, and promote the integration of Africa's emerging industrial chains into China's general cycle. At the digital industry level, it provides e-government, smart transportation, smart agriculture and other solutions, strengthens financial technology, e-commerce, mobile Internet and other investment services, participates in and promotes the development of Africa's digital economy, and enables Africa to participate in China's digital economy industry chain. Use platforms such as "Luban Workshop" to cultivate more vocational and technical talents in the field of digital intelligence for Africa to meet the human resource needs of Africa's digital economic development. At the digital infrastructure level, promote cooperation with Africa in digital economic infrastructure such as big data, cloud computing, and communication technology, and actively participate in the construction of African submarine and land cables, 5G networks, and data centers to help African countries improve their digital economic development capabilities and narrow the digital divide. At the digital governance level, establish a China-Africa digital economic policy dialogue platform, jointly formulate cross-border data rules, strengthen mutual recognition and interconnection of China-Africa digital economic standards, and promote the coordination of China-Africa digital rules.
Accelerate the integration of China-Africa industry and w88 with high-level economic and w88 cooperation. In terms of w88 facilitation, comprehensively improve the level of liberalization and facilitation of China-Africa economic and w88 cooperation, strengthen communication and cooperation between the two sides in aspects such as animal and plant quarantine, commodity inspection, and customs, and establish an effective w88 and investment coordination mechanism.
