On behalf of all the teachers and students of the University, Zhao Zhongxiu, President of the w88 casino, extended a warm welcome to the freshmen of the class of 2025. He pointed out that as the first institution of higher learning in New China to train foreign w88 professionals, the w88 casino has always anchored its development direction with "the needs of the country" as the starting point and focus of all the w88 casino's work. It has been integrated into all aspects of talent training, discipline construction, and scientific research, and has made suggestions and contributed wisdom and ideas to the country's opening up. More than 300,000 outstanding alumni have gone from here to the world, using practical actions to demonstrate the feelings of family and country that generations of USIM members have taken on and are determined to strive for. The arrival of new students has injected new vitality into the campus. As a member of the University of International w88 in the new era, we must work hard to take over the baton of building a strong country and rejuvenating the nation.

Zhao Zhongxiu put forward three expectations for the freshmen:

The first is to have a "big country" in mind and cultivate a "big" pattern - I hope that students will have big ambitions and a big vision. Inherit the glorious tradition, integrate personal dreams into the tide of the times, integrate the "small self" into the "big self", strengthen ambitions, grow in pursuit of dreams, and let vigorous youth resonate with the feelings of family and country. Based on the University of International w88, look at the world, grow into a member of the University of w88 and Economics with a sense of family and country and a global perspective, and become a teller of Chinese stories, a disseminator of China’s voice, and a promoter of mutual learning among civilizations.

The second is to keep in mind the mission of strengthening the country and build a solid foundation for "strength" - I hope that students will have the brain power to be good at thinking and the feet to be diligent in practice. Adhere to the research spirit of "inquiring into the origin", strengthen academic foundation and digital literacy, adhere to the spirit of critical thinking and humanistic care, observe society with a keen eye, think about problems with a clear mind, and create the future with the power of wisdom. Taking advantage of the location advantages of Beijing, the "capital of good things", we can go deep into the grassroots and the front line, measure the land of the motherland with our footsteps, listen to the people's voices with our ears, learn to ask the people for their needs and advice, establish a strong sense of serving the people, and let "foot power" become a solid support for growth and success.

The third is to sharpen the quality of will and build a "tough" character - I hope that students will have the determination to "stick to their original aspirations" and the courage to face difficulties. We must learn from the spirit of Mr. Yao Tsang-yin, Mr. Shen Daming and other forefathers of the University of International w88 and the outstanding teachers of the new era represented by Yu Jin. In the future study and life, we must stick to our original aspirations, maintain determination, avoid impetuousness, and move forward steadily. "Be brave enough to shoulder heavy responsibilities, overcome difficulties bravely, and fight risks bravely", transform the courage to face difficulties into the motivation to seek knowledge and the determination to forge ahead, and continue to move forward on the road of climbing the peak of knowledge and improving comprehensive capabilities, laying a solid foundation for joining the motherland and the places where the people need it most in the future.
