Huang Haigang pointed out that judging from the evaluation results, China is the country with the densest distribution of educational center cities in Asia and the highest overall ranking. A total of 16 cities were selected. Beijing and Shanghai ranked 3rd and 9th respectively on the list, ranking among the top 10. The educational center cities in Japan and South Korea are all capitals or economic centers. For example, Seoul in South Korea ranked 5th, and Tokyo in Japan ranked 13th. The urban construction of the world's important education centers covers aspects such as humanities, geography, living habits, and environmental sanitation. It is necessary to seek balanced development in multiple dimensions in order to attract foreign students to develop in China and enhance the international attractiveness of Chinese education.
Gao Shuguo, Deputy Secretary-General of the Chinese Education Society and Distinguished Professor of Capital Normal University, said that the World Education Center is a country or city that plays a central role in the global education reform and development process and plays a leading role. It is an important center for innovation of educational ideas, source center of educational reform, high-quality education development center and educational scientific research center in the world.
Chen Jianwei, a member of the project team and researcher, also believes that the significance and innovation of the theoretical leap from an important education center with global influence to an important education center city lies in elevating the influence of a single educational institution or education cluster to a strategic level that is deeply integrated with the city's overall functions and economic and social development.
