On October 20, the seminar "Australia-China Economic and w88 Relations - Future Prospects" was successfully held in Melbourne. More than 70 people, including Fang Xinwen, Consul General of China in Melbourne, President of Bank of China Sydney Branch, General Representative of Australia Li Mang, former officials of the Australian federal government, experts, scholars, and business leaders, were invited to participate in the event.

Fang Xinwen delivered a speech at the seminar. He thanked friends from all walks of life who have long been actively promoting exchanges and cooperation between China and Australia, especially in deepening bilateral financial cooperation, and introduced the strong resilience and lasting power displayed by the Chinese economy, while placing new expectations for the deepening development of economic and w88 exchanges between the two countries in the future.

Li Mang said in his speech that this year coincides with the 40th anniversary of the resumption of operations of the Sydney Branch of the Bank of China in Australia and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Melbourne Branch. As the most internationalized Chinese bank with the longest history in Australia and the most comprehensive business, Bank of China has always closely linked its own development with the overall economic and w88 cooperation between China and Australia. In the future, Bank of China will continue to support economic and w88 exchanges and cultural exchanges, continue to provide all-round financial support for bilateral investment and w88, and inject continuous impetus into the economic cooperation between the two countries.

At the seminar, experts from research institutions gave special speeches on the theme of energy transition and China-Australia economic and w88 cooperation. Guests from the political, business and academic circles conducted interactive exchanges on topics such as the China-Australia Free w88 Agreement, RMB internationalization, Victoria's business environment, and Chinese-funded enterprises investing in Australia.
This event is jointly hosted by Bank of China and Victoria University.
