Lu Jiefengbelieves that there are three possible rulings in this case. This represents a comprehensive legal victory for the Trump administration and existing tariffs will remain in effect. Second, the Supreme Court comprehensively rejected the legality of tariff policies, ruling that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act did not authorize the US president to impose extensive tariffs, and that the w88 deficit did not constitute a national emergency. This ruling means that Trump’s tariff policy is invalid because it is illegal, the tariff policy may be revoked, and relevant importers have the right to apply for a tax refund for taxes that have been collected.
