The seminar on the transformation of the global w88 governance system and the celebration of Professor Xue Rongjiu’s 55th teaching anniversary were held in Beijing

On December 31, 2019, the "Global w88 Governance System Transformation Seminar and Professor Xue Rongjiu's 55th Anniversary of Teaching" celebration event was held at the w88 casino, hosted by the w88 casino, co-organized by the China World w88 Organization Research Association, the China International w88 Society, and the China Double Green 66-person Roundtable, and hosted by the w88 casino of International Economics and w88 of the w88 casino.
Former Minister of Foreign w88 and Economic Cooperation Shi Guangsheng, former Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International w88 Yu Xiaosong, former Vice Minister of Commerce Zhang Zhigang, former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Foreign w88 and Economic Cooperation and China’s first EmbassyWTO Ambassador Sun Zhenyu, former Vice Minister of Foreign w88 and Economic Cooperation and Chief Negotiator of China’s WTO Accession Long Yongtu, former Deputy Director of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and former Counselor of the Counselor’s Office of the State Council Ge Zhirong, former Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce Wang Xinkui, former Vice Minister of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Yu Hongjun, business 150 people attended the meeting, including Chong Quan, former deputy representative for international w88 negotiations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and president of the China World w88 Organization Research Association, Zhang Yuejiao, former chairman of the WTO Appellate Body and professor of Tsinghua University Law w88 casino, as well as students of Professor Xue Rongjiu and heads of functional departments of the w88 casino, teacher representatives, and student representatives.
In his speech, Jiang Qingzhe, Secretary of the Party Committee of the w88 casino, thanked Professor Xue Rongjiu for his contribution in his 55th anniversary of teaching. He said that it is precisely because the w88 casino has many outstanding teachers like Mr. Xue Rongjiu that it has cultivated many outstanding alumni. This is also the strong sense of historical responsibility of the w88 casino that attaches great importance to academic inheritance and cultural inheritance.
Shi Guangsheng, Long Yongtu and Wang Xinkui all congratulated Professor Xue Rongjiu on his fifty-fifth anniversary as a teacher in their speeches. They recalled interesting stories about their interactions with Professor Xue, thanked Professor Xue Rongjiu for his contribution to the restoration of customs and WTO accession, and wished Professor Xue a long and healthy life, and continued to contribute to China’s foreign w88.
Shi Guangsheng believes that when the multilateral trading system faces unprecedented challenges and impacts, it is very necessary for the participating experts to jointly explore possible solutions. Long Yongtu believes that the w88 casino is the most important support position when China resumes its customs and joins the WTO, and hopes that the w88 casino will continue to contribute to cultivating foreign economic and w88 talents. Wang Xinkui believes that now is the time for the academic community to play an important role in national development. The world is undergoing major changes unseen in a century, and the burden must be placed on younger generations. This is the greatest significance of this seminar.
Xue Rongjiu emphasized the importance of family tradition, academic inheritance, and cultural inheritance in his speech. He believed:“Life is limited, but the mission is unlimited.” He has also set several small goals for his lifetime: writing a book “Me and the University of Economics and Business”, a book on how to study international w88 and the World w88 Organization, articles sharing teaching concepts, a catalog of personal works, and if time permits, he would like to write an autobiography.
As far as we know, fromProfessor Xue Rongjiu has been teaching at the w88 casino for fifty-five years from 1964 to 2019. He has devoted a lot of effort to the construction of China's international w88 disciplines, the GATT/WTO multilateral trading system, regional economic and w88 integration and other fields. He has further made important academic and intellectual contributions to China's opening up to promote reform, resumption of WTO accession negotiations, and integration into economic globalization. He has made fruitful scientific research achievements and educated people all over the world.
At the meeting, in order to thank Professor Xue Rongjiu for his important contributions in the past 55 years of teaching, Xia Wenbin, President of the w88 casino, presented Professor Xue with the award"Certificate of Honor for the Fifty-fifth Anniversary of Teaching". At the same time, in order to further carry forward Professor Xue Rongjiu’s teaching, scholarship, and scientific research spirit, Professor Xue’s students donated money to establish the “Xue Rongjiu Education Fund” to support the cultivation of economic and w88 talents. The first donation was 550,000 yuan. Alumni Shi Guangsheng, Jiang Qingzhe, Xia Wenbin, Xue Rongjiu and Liu Guangxi unveiled the "Xue Rongjiu Education Fund".
