On the morning of March 25, 2020, entrusted by Professor Jiang Qingzhe, Chairman of the Academic Committee of the Beijing Humboldt Forum, and Professor Zhao Zhongxiu, Chairman of the Beijing Humboldt Forum, Feng Xiaohu, Secretary-General of the Beijing Humboldt Forum, wrote to the German Humboldt Foundation to express support for the Humboldt Foundation and the German people's fight against the epidemic.

That night, Dr. Pape, chairman of the Humboldt Foundation, entrusted Dr. Schildt, who is in charge of the Humboldt Prize, to reply to the letter, expressing his sincere gratitude to the Beijing Humboldt Forum and Chinese Humboldt scholars for raising funds, protective clothing, masks and other protective materials in a short period of time. The letter stated, "We are deeply moved! Mr. Chairman was moved to tears by the helpful spirit of you and the Chinese Humboldt scholars. Here, on behalf of Dr. Overhead, Dr. Merisi, Dr. Mandela and all colleagues at the foundation, I would like to express our most sincere gratitude!"

It is reported that Dr. Auf Delheide, Secretary General of the Humboldt Foundation, read out the letter from the Humboldt Forum in Beijing at the coordination meeting of international donations received by German ministries and agencies held by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the 25th, which won the awe and emotion of the participants.

The German Humboldt Foundation is Germany's only fully federally funded national foundation, which is equivalent to the Chinese National Social Sciences plus the Chinese National Natural Science Foundation. Its secretary-general is at the deputy ministerial level, and all previous presidents are world-renowned scientists from the Nobel Prize candidate circle. The Humboldt Prize is known as the "Little Nobel Prize" and its prize money exceeds the Nobel Prize. The Humboldt Foundation has currently funded 24,000 elite scholars in 135 countries around the world, of which more than 2,400 are Chinese and nearly 2,000 work in China. For more than ten years, China has ranked first in the world in terms of the number of applications and approvals for the Humboldt Scholarship. Since 2013, the Humboldt Foundation has co-sponsored the Beijing Humboldt Forum with w88 casino.
