In recent years, my country's green finance has developed rapidly, playing an important role in supporting the fight against pollution, promoting green economic and social development, and promoting the construction of ecological civilization. The first is to guide and optimize resource allocation and effectively promote ecological environment protection and ecological civilization construction. Guide the flow of funds, reduce investment in high-pollution, high-emission, and high-energy-consuming projects, and guide social capital to flow into areas such as green environmental protection, clean energy conservation, and pollution prevention and control; use the professional means of financial institutions to promote the optimal allocation of environmental resources such as government financial subsidies and emission rights, and better utilize the supporting role of financial resources in ecological protection and environmental governance. It should be noted that although my country's green finance has made great progress, there are still some shortcomings in meeting the needs of green development and ecological civilization construction. For example, commercial banks and other financial institutions are not actively participating in green project investment and financing activities. The problem of difficult and expensive green project financing still exists. The green finance standard system is incomplete, the financial product structure is relatively simple, and there is a lack of high-quality green finance professionals. To solve these problems, efforts need to be made from the following two aspects.
Enhance financial institutions’ awareness of responsibility and service, and establish a correct view of performance. Insufficient financing is a major factor restricting green development. It is necessary to stimulate and enhance the consciousness, initiative and enthusiasm of commercial banks and other financial institutions, and encourage them to increase funding supply and support for green development and ecological civilization construction. Guide commercial banks and other financial institutions to clearly understand their status and responsibilities, enhance their sense of responsibility and service in promoting the construction of ecological civilization, and establish a correct view of performance. Financial enterprises are encouraged to balance their own economic interests and social responsibilities in their business activities, and coordinate corporate economic benefits, ecological civilization construction and social public interests. Guide financial enterprises to place ecological and environmental protection in a more important position in investment and financing decisions, and make it a basic policy for enterprises to fulfill their social responsibilities and an important criterion for evaluating business performance. Increase publicity and rewards for financial institutions that have outstanding performance in supporting green development, exert a demonstration effect, and create a good atmosphere in the financial industry that advocates ecological environment protection and green investment.
Focus on building a green financial standard system, optimizing product structure, and strengthening the construction of talent teams. To play a better role in promoting ecological civilization, green finance must enhance the sustainability and standardization of its own development. Based on my country's actual economic development and drawing on successful foreign experiences, we will strive to build a domestically unified and internationally recognized green financial standard system that covers general basic standards, product service standards, credit rating assessment standards, information disclosure standards, statistical sharing standards, risk management and guarantee standards, and is clear and enforceable to provide the basis and guarantee for the development and growth of the green industry. While increasing the innovation and development of green credit, we will develop green bonds, funds, equity financing, trusts, leases and other financing products, continuously improve and optimize the supply structure of green financial products, and provide more targeted, distinctive and diversified financial products and services for green development and ecological civilization construction. Green finance is an emerging industry and has strong interdisciplinary nature. It is necessary to cultivate professionals who understand both finance and environmental protection, can correctly evaluate green projects and industries, and are familiar with and master the operating rules of green finance. To allow finance to better serve green development, we need to attach great importance to the construction of a talent team, cultivate a team of green finance talents that adapt to the needs of my country's ecological civilization construction, and consolidate the talent foundation for the development of green finance.
