On November 29, the Chinese Culture Knowledge Competition was successfully held in Moscow. This competition was co-sponsored by the Education Office of the Chinese Embassy in Russia and the Chinese Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education. It was hosted by the Confucius Institute at the Russian State University for the Humanities and strongly supported by the Chinese Cultural Center in Moscow. It attracted a total of 30 contestants from 8 Russian universities and 4 Confucius Institutes, and more than 150 guests participated in related activities.

This competition is conducted simultaneously online and offline. The questions are divided into objective questions and subjective questions, covering China's national conditions, literature, history, cities, calligraphy, festivals, music, food, etc. During the competition, the contestants took turns on stage to compete and show their understanding of Chinese culture to the judges and the audience.

After fierce competition, 9 contestants from Moscow Institute of International Relations, Volgograd State University of Social Sciences, Russian State University for the Humanities, Moscow State Linguistic University and other institutions won the first, second and third prizes respectively.

After the competition, the contestants and Chinese students performed Chinese songs, Han and Tang dances, guzheng playing, painting and other artistic performances, providing the audience with an opportunity to have a close understanding of the diversity and charm of Chinese culture.
