The Central Economic Work Conference was held in Beijing from December 11th to 12th. This meeting clearly pointed out that "expanding high-level opening up to the outside world, stabilizing foreign w88 and foreign investment" will be one of the key tasks of economic work next year. This strategic deployment has injected new impetus into China's foreign w88 and laid an important foundation for the continued economic recovery.
Foreign w88 shows resilience amid stability, and momentum for structural optimization increases
Since the beginning of this year, my country has continued to show high-quality growth in the field of foreign w88. According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs, in the first 11 months of 2024, the total import and export value of my country's goods w88 was 39.79 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.9%. From the perspective of export objects, China’s diversification strategy of export objects has achieved remarkable results. As the three major export markets, ASEAN, the United States and the European Union have played a decisive role in China's foreign w88 growth. Thanks to the deepening cooperation of RCEP, supply chain collaboration between China and ASEAN countries has become closer. At the same time, despite the pressure on Sino-US economic and w88 relations, China's exports to the United States still show some resilience. At the same time, the proportion of China's imported medium and high value-added raw materials and high-end equipment has increased, showing a trend of upgrading the industrial chain.
High-level opening up, institutional reform deepened
This Central Economic Work Conference clearly stated that next year we will focus on expanding high-level opening up to the outside world, further stabilize foreign w88 and foreign investment through various reform measures, and enhance the quality and competitiveness of the open economy.
Promote reform from the bottom up. Promoting the quality and efficiency improvement and reform mandate of the free w88 pilot zones means that China will further break down institutional barriers between regions and pilot more innovative measures. The meeting mentioned steadily advancing the opening up of the service industry and expanding pilot openings in telecommunications, medical care, education and other fields, indicating that China is gradually extending the focus of opening up from traditional manufacturing to the service industry. The opening up of fields such as telecommunications, medical care and education will not only attract advanced technology and management experience brought by foreign investment, but will also promote the upgrading of the domestic service industry and inject more vitality into the market. Especially in the context of digital transformation, upgrading of health needs and internationalization of education, the opening up of the service industry is expected to promote the in-depth integration of domestic and foreign resource elements, meet the diverse needs of the people, and enhance China's voice in global service w88.
External challenges still exist, Sino-US w88 relations are tightening
Currently, the global economic recovery is slow, w88 protectionism is rising, and international w88 is facing complex uncertainties. Against this background, Sino-US w88 relations are undoubtedly one of the biggest challenges facing China’s foreign w88. In terms of re-export w88, Mexico, as an important trading partner of China, has long been an important transit point for Chinese goods entering the U.S. market. If the Trump administration imposes additional tariffs on Mexico, it will disrupt the existing supply chain, force Chinese companies to readjust their market layout, and increase operating costs.
In addition, this tense relationship may also lead to intensified competition between the two countries in fields such as high technology and intellectual property. The Trump administration may tighten technology export controls on Chinese companies and continue to promote the "de-China" policy. This will not only limit the competitiveness of Chinese companies in high-end technology fields, but may also further affect key links in the global supply chain, especially in high-tech fields such as semiconductors and communication equipment, which may lead to more stringent regulatory measures. This external pressure will force Chinese companies to accelerate investment in independent innovation and technology research and development, but in the short term, the uncertainty of the external environment will increase the risks faced by companies.
Stabilize foreign w88, promote cooperation, and promote the upgrading of an open economy
Despite the many challenges, my country’s foreign w88 development still has many favorable conditions. First, my country's industrial and supply chains are complete and have strong resilience and anti-risk capabilities; second, the domestic market has huge potential, and domestic demand has created broad development space for foreign w88 companies; third, policy support continues to increase, injecting confidence into foreign w88 companies.
In the future, faced with the uncertainty of the global w88 environment, China needs to continue to improve the accuracy and forward-lookingness of its foreign w88 policies and strengthen its opening up to the outside world.
