During his one year at the Supreme People's Court, participating in the trial of difficult cases and discussions at judges' conferences was the professional experience that Bian Yongmin was most proud of and grateful for. She admitted that in this institution, she must uphold a meticulous attitude: repeatedly study the case, make solid arguments, revise the judgment verbatim, and strictly proofread it. She must not only be worthy of the status of "judge", but also maintain the honor of the highest judicial institution.
“Some difficult cases often have complex historical evolutions. During this period, the country’s management system and laws may have changed, and the parties themselves may have been reorganized or merged. Although they are mainly intellectual property disputes, if there are no civil law, administrative law, company law, criminal law, etc. I may not be fully qualified to handle intellectual property cases, which is also a big challenge for me. Often, the lights in his office were still on when I had already gotten off work.” Among these colleagues, some held important positions and some stayed on the front line of the trial.
