For most people, Xinjiang is a strange and mysterious place, but for me it is a very familiar place. During my postgraduate period, I studied at Xinjiang University for three years, thereby gaining a deeper understanding of the life and humanistic environment in Xinjiang. You can’t appreciate how big China is until you come to Xinjiang. There is the vast Gobi Desert here. Looking down from the plane, it is so vast that it seems endless. As one of the birthplaces of the ancient Silk Road, this largest region in the west is glowing with new vitality under the guidance of the country’s “One Belt, One Road” initiative. Any economic development cannot be separated from talents and education. Against this background, China University of Petroleum (Beijing), with the support of the Ministry of Education, built a modern university campus in Karamay, an oil powerhouse. Any business venture is difficult, and starting a university must start from scratch. The Karamay campus officially welcomed its first batch of students in 2016 and is currently developing rapidly. My main job is to be responsible for the "China Economic Analysis" course for two large classes in the economics major and the finance major. It takes two months to complete the course lectures, the final exam, and review the test papers. As a new teacher, this is actually my first time to give a formal lecture on the podium. Although I have experience as a teaching assistant before, this time I need to control all the course settings myself. First of all, you need to choose the teaching materials. "China Economic Analysis" is an all-inclusive course. Only with good reference materials can the structure of the course be clear. Another important job is to produce courseware and complete the teaching tasks of each class with high quality. The teaching targets are sophomore or junior undergraduate students. They are all young students with active thinking. It is not easy to attract their attention. In many cases, it is necessary to enrich the classroom content and enhance students' interest by adding interactive links, adding picture information, video materials, etc. In addition, I will also share the latest Chinese economic hot spots or the opinions of experts and scholars based on the content of recent courses.

When you come to Xinjiang, you must mention the team of teachers who are assisting Xinjiang. Due to historical and national development planning and other reasons, the eastern region of our country was the first to develop, especially the southeastern coastal economic circle. But today, a large amount of resources and talents have begun to pour into the central and western regions to support the construction and development of temporarily backward places. As part of the country's balanced development strategy, personnel aiding Xinjiang have made huge contributions, and of course this is an unshirkable mission. Here at China University of Petroleum (Karamay Campus), there are many respectable teachers who have aided Xinjiang, and the College of Arts and Sciences where I am also has the largest number of people. They come from different universities across the country, such as Central University of Finance and Economics, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Beijing Foreign Studies University, East China Normal University, etc., and of course there are many teachers from our University of International w88. Teachers are usually busy with teaching and other matters. On special days, teachers who have aided Xinjiang will gather together to share the experience of aiding Xinjiang and the feelings of the west. As a short-term volunteer teacher, I was honored to participate in a gathering of teachers aiding Xinjiang. What particularly affected me was that everyone sang "My Motherland and Me" together. The teachers who came to Xinjiang left their families and familiar teaching and scientific research environments to devote themselves to the great mission of developing the western region. This patriotism and spirit of love will always inspire me to move forward.
