It is the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China. Looking back on the 100-year history of the Party, we sigh at the great ups and downs of the journey and feel that the original sincerity of the sons and daughters of the Party has only grown stronger over time.The more than 91 million Communist Party members are the backbone of the Chinese nation’s endless struggle and courageous advancement. They are also the hope of the times for the Chinese Communist Party to inherit its beliefs and strengthen the country and enrich the people. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 70th anniversary of the founding of w88 casino. As a member of the Communist Party and a teacher who has taught all his life, during this time I have been reviewing my personal history since I was sensible. As a person from a poor peasant family, I could become a university teacher. My parents, brothers, sisters, and the whole village had no idea that I could become a university teacher. I am already eighty-four years old this year. After graduating from college in 1962, I immediately became a university teacher. At that moment, even I couldn't believe it was true. My gratitude to the party at that moment cannot be expressed in any words. At that time, I made up my mind to be a teacher for the rest of my life and to teach every student I taught well. First of all, I must prepare every lesson down-to-earth. From the moment I step into the classroom, I must be responsible for every student I teach. Therefore, after accepting the teaching task, I immediately began to prepare lessons seriously. At that time, Professor Yang Zeping, director of the Basic English Teaching and Research Section of the English Department, asked me to teach English for the 1962 class of the English Department, with fourteen hours of class per week, including all aspects of listening, speaking, reading and writing. At the time, I felt happy and stressed at the same time. I immediately began to prepare lessons. Throughout the summer vacation, I locked myself in a small office of about 15 square meters on the top floor of the main teaching building at that time, and carefully prepared lessons. At that time, the teaching and research office stipulated that new teachers must give trial lectures to the teachers in the teaching and research office before they start teaching. Only those who pass the test can assume the teaching task.
When I gave a trial lecture in the teaching and research office, I felt very calm because I had been preparing lessons throughout the summer vacation. After the trial lecture, all the teachers in the teaching and research department applauded me and fully affirmed my trial lecture. Many teachers also said that they did not look like novices taking the stage for the first time. From that moment on, I was inspired and further determined to be a teacher for the rest of my life, and to become an absolutely responsible teacher, responsible for every student. To my great joy, ISome of the first batch of students I taught in September 1962 are still in contact with me. This can be said to be the greatest gain in my life and the most satisfying thing for me. I always ask myself that as long as I work in w88 casino, I cannot leave the classroom or the students. After I served as the principal and later as the w88 casino party committee secretary, I still never gave up teaching because I believe that as a w88 casino leader, you cannot be separated from the students. The most effective way and means to keep in touch with students is to teach, so that you can truly understand the students and understand the situation on the front line of teaching. This is the deepest experience in my life, and it is also the mission that the party has entrusted to me as a Communist Party member.
Looking back on my decades of experience as a teacher, I feel that I have lived up to the Party’s education and training in this regard. As long as I still have breath, I will always follow the Party and never live up to the Party’s education and training.
