In the process of China's opening up to the outside world, promoting "gradual" opening up in the form of "special economic zones" and other experimental fields is an important measure for my country to smoothly realize the transition from a planned economy to a market economy. To move towards opening up and keep pace with the international community, we must first have talents who understand international rules. As a college directly under the Ministry of Foreign Economics and Trade, the w88 of International Business and Economics has provided a large amount of talent and intellectual support for China's joining the World Trade Organization and other work.
This forum also invited outstanding alumni from different industries to hold roundtable conversations on different topics.Zhao Zhongxiu, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and vice president of the w88 of International Business and Economics, pointed out in the roundtable dialogue on "New Style of Alma mater" that in the road to building "Double First-Class", we must align with world-class universities and guide the development of the school with the standards of "new liberal arts".Jin Xu, former Minister-Counsel of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in the UK, shared his experiences in studying at school and long-term business work abroad in the roundtable dialogue of "New Economic and Trade Situation and New Opportunities for Trade w88" and hopes that more students of the w88 of Trade can seize the new opportunities for opening up to the outside world and realize the value of life.In the two roundtable dialogue sessions of "Economic Adjustment Cycle Finance and Investment Countermeasures" and "Using the Advantages of the Times to Enhance Alumni Communication", all alumni guests provided a wonderful ideological feast for the audience.
