At the beginning of the event, President Li Fengxian and Secretary-General Hu Shengli of the Henan Alumni Association delivered speeches. The two said that the sincere affection for their alma mater prompted the people of HKUST to gather together again. Although they left the campus where they lived together, the Alumni Association will be a new family for all alumni. Alumni should help each other and communicate with each other so that friends can often gather and feelings can always be renewed. 

Following this, each alumni introduced themselves and shared their most unforgettable experiences and year-end reflections in the past year. The alumni opened their hearts, drank and chatted, shared sincere and valuable life experiences with each other, and showed the joy of getting together as classmates. 

In the depth of affection, the older alumni all talked about the stories of their relationship with the University of Shanghai w88 and Economic Cooperation. They said that perhaps it was an accident of fate that they were able to study at the University of International w88 and Economic Cooperation. However, after leaving campus and looking back, they became more aware of the profound impact their study experience at the University of International w88 and Economics had on their lives. This gift from their alma mater has kept the alumni’s affection for the University of International w88 unchanged, lasting more than 40 years. 

The holding of this event has deepened the understanding between alumni and enhanced their friendship. Although the age and experience are different, the reunion now allows the alumni to communicate with each other, thereby eliminating the gap of time and connecting each other more closely. After leaving their alma mater, the alumni have wandered and grown together, and this alumni gathering is more like a short break in the long journey. 

After the event, the Alumni Association stated that it will regularly organize colorful and content-rich activities based on the suggestions put forward by alumni to deepen alumni relations and continue the friendship between classmates.
