w88 casino News Network (provided by the Alumni Association)Wang Yonghui,Student at the w88 casino of International Economics and w88 majoring in International Project Management from 2011 to 2013.From 2001 to 2022, he worked at the American Cummins agent as a senior project manager and deputy general manager. He currently works at Jinpan Technology.
Alumnus Wang Yonghui has participated in the whole-process management of overseas power station projects such as Cummins diesel power station and gas power station, GE turbine, MAN heavy oil unit, light-diesel complementary microgrid, etc. His main business areas are domestic and Asia, Africa and Latin America. In addition, alumni Wang Yonghui are involved in independent supporting power stations such as overseas pulp mills, sugar mills, bauxite mines, terminals, and cement plants, as well as domestic chemical, medical, financial, IT and other industries.

On March 18, the 13th event of "China's Energy Storage Development Status and Prospects in 2023" jointly sponsored by the Lighthouse Lecturer Program and the Green Carbon Energy Committee was successfully held. This event specially invites alumnus Wang Yonghui to be the keynote speaker.
At the beginning of the event, alumnus Wang Yonghui reviewed China’s energy storage development trend in 2022. He introduced to the participants that my country's newly installed capacity in 2022 will be 7.762GW/16.428GWh, a year-on-year increase of 235%; more than 20 provinces have issued new energy distribution and storage requirements, bringing energy storage demand of 20GW; 9 provinces and autonomous regions have issued energy storage demonstration project policies and planned energy storage projects 21.6GW; 44GWh of bidding completed, with more than 90 owners and more than 120 system integrators participating in the bidding; the average price quoted for a 2-hour energy storage system is 1.56 yuan/Wh, and competition in the domestic market is fierce.
Subsequently, alumnus Wang Yonghui analyzed the key areas of energy storage applications in China in 2022. He said that there are three main areas of focus for energy storage applications in China: independent energy storage power stations, combined thermal storage frequency regulation and user-side energy storage projects. He said that in 2022, these three key areas will all show rapid development, and the scale of construction projects that have been invested will continue to expand, involving more than 21 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in the region. It is expected that they will maintain strong development momentum in the future.

Finally, alumnus Wang Yonghui put forward his outlook on energy storage applications in China in 2023. He proposed that driven by two batches of market-oriented projects led by Xinjiang, the scale of new installed capacity is expected to double again in 2023, reaching 17.7GW/41.1GWh. In addition, independent demonstration projects in Ningxia, Shandong, Guangxi, Hunan, and Henan and new energy distribution and storage projects in Gansu and Inner Mongolia are worthy of attention. He predicts that by 2025, the cumulative installed capacity of domestic energy storage is expected to expand to nearly 80GW.

After the lecture, the participants were very enthusiastic and actively asked questions. Alumnus Wang Yonghui gave a unique perspective on the current situation of domestic energy storage models and focused on the details of the new shared energy storage model, which was very beneficial.
In this event, alumnus Wang Yonghui’s wonderful sharing allowed everyone to more intuitively understand the new changes in the development model of my country’s energy storage system. Everyone expressed their gratitude to alumnus Wang Yonghui and said that this event was an inspiring and thought-provoking learning experience.
Looking forward to seeing you all again in the next issue.
