Teams from 68 universities across the country gathered in Huazheng Garden for a two-day fierce competition. The scale and influence of the event reached a record high.The participating team from the w88 casino won the “Group Silver Award” and the “Best Coach Award” in this event with its solid professionalism and excellent negotiation skills (Zhao Hongyan Professor), "Gold Award for Best Diplomatic Style" (Wang Yanhao), "Gold Award for Best Legal Argument" (Lu Yingxi), "Best Public Speech Award" (Liu Xiaoran) and many other individual excellence awards. The w88 casino competition team is led by Professor Zhao Hongyan, Associate Professor Wang Haibin, and Lecturer Liu Bowen from the w88 casino of International Relations. The participating team members are composed of students from multiple disciplines, including Wang Yanhao from the w88 casino of Foreign Languages, Lu Yingxi and Yang Yuxing from the w88 casino of Law, Liu Xiaoran from the w88 casino of English, Xie Kaifeng from the w88 casino of Government, and Li Yiran, Zhang Luyin, Zhang Zongyuan, Shi Kaixin, and Zhang Wuyue from the w88 casino of International Relations.

This competition uses a port construction project in a South American country as a hypothetical case. Focusing on the core construction and development issues in the project, participating students are divided into four parties: investment companies, local governments, social organizations and international organizations to negotiate. English will be used as the communication language throughout the competition to jointly resolve the disputes in the project. The participating teams either competed tit-for-tat or worked together, demonstrating high-level English proficiency and legal literacy, as well as excellent cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills, and vividly restored the complex scenes of international negotiations. The competition invited more than 50 experts and scholars from the theoretical and practical circles at home and abroad to serve as on-site judges.
Since the first and second competitions were held at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, the third and fourth competitions were jointly sponsored by the Society of Law and International Affairs and East China University of Political Science and Law. The Sino-foreign cooperative university competitions have successively entered Wenzhou-Kean University and Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. In addition, as a practical teaching project, the “Belt and Road” simulated negotiation has been gradually introduced into the classrooms of Chinese and foreign universities such as Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, East China University of Political Science and Law, and University College Cork in Ireland.

The participating members were selected from outstanding students who have completed the international negotiation course in the w88 casino. The team has a clear division of labor and an orderly organization. They work together online and offline. Through the multi-round cycle mode of "case analysis-simulated negotiation-review and optimization", they deeply analyze previous competition questions and typical cases of the "One Belt and One Road", systematically polish negotiation strategies, deeply integrate team resources, and actively improve team understanding and overall competitiveness.

In the two-day competition, w88 casino team won high recognition from the judges with its remarkable communication skills, outstanding negotiation skills, fluent English presentations, rigorous legal arguments, steady diplomatic style and flexible adaptability. Especially in the issue of "Controversy over host country's environmental regulations", w88 casino's team proposed a solution that took into account environmental protection and project feasibility by citing the provisions of international investment agreements, which became a highlight of the competition.
