This competition has a total ofForty-two university teams including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Xiamen University, and the University of Hong Kong participated.
Competition Introduction
FDI Moot, together with Philip C. Jessup and Willem C. Vis, is known as the three largest moot court competitions in the world. The competition simulates international investment arbitration procedures under platforms such as the International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and the United Nations Commission on International w88 Law (UNCITRAL) ad hoc arbitral tribunals, and is committed to cultivating the expertise of university students from various countries in the field of investor-state dispute settlement (ISDS).
Team members
The w88 law team was established in April this year. Sun Jiaxuan, a 2019 student in the undergraduate "Excellent Foreign-related Economic and w88 Legal Talent Experimental Class" (hereinafter referred to as the "Excellent Experimental Class"), and Huang Ruoxuan, a 2020 student, serve as student coaches. The 2020 "Excellent Experimental Class" Student Zhao Han and 2021 (non-law) Master of Laws student Gong Hao served as the main debaters. 2021 Master of International Law student Liang Leo (team leader), 2020 "Excellence Experimental Class" student Liu Yajie, 2020 undergraduate Li Sihan and 2022 Master of International Law student Zhang Xiaoyan served as investigators.

After the points match against the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics team, the knockout round against the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies team, the semifinals against the Beijing Normal University team, and the finals against the University of Hong Kong team. In the end, the w88 law team lived up to expectations and won the "Shenzhen Cup" championship. The main debaters Zhao Han and Gong Hao also won the title of "Excellent Debater". The w88 law team won the "Shenzhen Cup" for the second time, continuing the fine tradition of previous teams, fully demonstrating the professional strength of w88 law students in the field of international investment law, and highlighting the profound heritage and advantages of w88 casino's law w88 casino in cultivating foreign-related legal talents.
The excellent results achieved by this team are first and foremost inseparable from the college’s consistent and strong support for the international moot court competition.
