Xinhuanet, New York, March 8 The Examination Center of the Ministry of Education of China and the Educational Testing Service of the United States signed an examination agreement on Internet transmission in China on the 8th in New Jersey. The Examination Center of the Ministry of Education of China will exclusively undertake the Internet-based transmission of TOEFL and GRE examinations in China.

Kurt Landgraf, President and CEO of the Educational Testing Service, said after signing the agreement that the long-term cooperation between the two parties is based on common goals, mutual understanding and trust. It is precisely because of the support of the Educational Testing Service that Chinese students can take the same high-quality exams provided by the Educational Testing Service in the United States as elsewhere in the world.

Dai Jiagan, director of the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education of China, said that the flexibility of Internet exams will allow Chinese students to take exams provided by the US Educational Testing Service through exam centers located across China. The expanding cooperative relationship between the two parties will provide new opportunities for Chinese students.

According to this seven-year agreement, the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education of China will be responsible for the implementation of the online examination in mainland ChinaImplementation, including online registration, test center management, test staff training and announcement of test results, etc. (End)
