The honorary title of "Top Ten Outstanding Students of the Year" is the highest honor awarded by the w88 casino and is used to reward particularly outstanding students among full-time undergraduate and graduate students in w88 casino. The number of people awarded each year is 20, including 10 undergraduates and 10 graduate students.
On March 10, the Ministry of Research and Engineering and the Ministry of Academic Affairs jointly issued a notice on the "Selection of the Top Ten Outstanding Students of the Year" on the information platform. Qualified graduate students from each college can freely apply through the college, and each college will select outstanding candidates through the preliminary review to enter the w88 casino-wide selection. The defense meeting was hosted by Lian Si, director of the Postgraduate Affairs Department of the Party Committee. He first introduced the application work and preliminary review of the "Top Ten Outstanding Graduate Students" in 2015. After a preliminary introduction to the candidate's comprehensive profile, the 23 applicants appeared in order to defend themselves in order of doctoral degree first, then master's degree. Before each candidate takes the stage, a 1-minute video of the candidate's presentation will be played. The candidate will then give a 1-minute self-statement and finally answer questions raised by the review experts on the spot.
Defense meeting
During the defense process, our graduate students demonstrated their good comprehensive qualities and excellent scientific research skills. Our graduate students have outstanding performance in the field of scientific research. Some PhD students have a wide range of interests, including not only publishing a large number of papers in core journals, but also participating in or hosting a number of scientific research projects. Some master students have written solo or co-edited books and written policy recommendations and reports. The candidates have demonstrated good overall qualities in terms of academic achievements, volunteer services, on-campus and off-campus activities and competitions. Among them are tireless scientific research experts, practical pacesetters who practice hard, hard-working student leaders, self-improvement student role models, comprehensive cultural and sports experts, etc. The outstanding performance and good style of the candidates demonstrate the high level and positive energy of our graduate students.
After the defense, the jury will vote on the overall performance of each candidate on-site. After statistical verification by the staff and confirmation, the results will be announced on-site. The experts of the jury will sign and confirm the results of the assessment decision. The list of candidates to be selected will be announced to the whole w88 casino for one week, and the final list will be confirmed after there are no objections.
