Notice on the continuation of the "Huiyuan Star" selection activity

In order to further implement the central governmentThe spirit of Document No. 16 integrates the socialist "concept of honor and disgrace" into the daily practice of league activities, sets examples, and praises advanced ones. Following the first "Huiyuan Star" selection activity carried out by the w88 casino party committee, the propaganda department, and the w88 casino league committee in 2005, this year will continue to carry out this activity around the w88 casino's undergraduate evaluation to inspire students to be proactive and make positive contributions to creating a good study style and a good w88 casino spirit.
The relevant matters are now notified as follows:
1. Organizational structure
In order to ensure the fairness and transparency of the "Huiyuan Star" selection activity, a special selection organizing committee is set up:

2. Selection rules
(1) Award setting and description
The selection of "Huiyuan Star" aims to encourage students in w88 casino who have made outstanding achievements in civilized etiquette, learning, charity, sports, literature and art, etc. and have won honors for the w88 casino. Therefore, there are five categories: Civilization Star, Learning Star, Volunteer Star, Sports Star, and Literature Star, with the maximum number of nominations for each category8 students, no more than 3 students will be selected in each category, and will be awarded the honorary title of "Huiyuan Star" by the organizing committee.
(2) Application conditions
All full-time non-adult education (junior college) students who meet the selection criteria for the "Huiyuan Star" awards can participate in the selection through organizational recommendation and personal self-recommendation.
Basic conditions: love w88 casino, love the collective, study hard, abide by disciplines and laws, and have no bad behavior records.
Anyone who meets one of the following requirements for each award can apply (each person is limited to one application):
★ Civilization Star
（1) Those who have good civilized behavior, abide by w88 casino rules and disciplines, respect teachers, be friendly to classmates, and play a prominent role or set an example in promoting campus civilized activities;
（2) Those who have the courage to expose and correct uncivilized behaviors or phenomena on campus;
（3) Those who pick up gold without knowing it.
★ Study Star
（1) Those who study hard, study hard, and have top academic performance;
（2) Those who actively conduct academic research and have their works published in academic journals;
（3) Those who have achieved outstanding results in various academic and scientific and technological activities (competitions) and won honors for the w88 casino.
★ Volunteer Star
（1) Those who have a strong sense of public welfare (environmental protection) and have made outstanding contributions to the construction of campus environment;
（2) Actively participate in various public welfare activities, selflessly dedicate love, and win honors for the w88 casino.
★ Sports Star
（1) Those who have certain sports expertise and have made outstanding contributions to the construction of campus culture;
（2) Those who have achieved outstanding results in various sports activities (competitions) and won honors for the w88 casino.
★ Literary Star
（1) Those who have certain literary and artistic expertise and have made outstanding contributions to the construction of campus culture;
（2) Those who have achieved outstanding results in various cultural and artistic activities (competitions) and won honors for the w88 casino.
(3) Selection method
1. The selection of "Huiyuan Star" is based on the applicant's deeds from April 2005 to April 2006.
2. The organizing committee will review the deeds and materials of all applying students, and based on identification and comparison, nominate the 8 most representative students for each award and make them public. During the public announcement period, all teachers and students can raise real-name questions and send their opinions to: uibeyouth@uibe.edu.cn
(4) Selection steps
The entire selection activity will be conducted in the following stages:
1. Application stage: March 29th-April 14th
Each college (department) can recommend qualified students of the unit to participate in the selection, and all recommended students’ materials (application forms and copies of relevant materials) will be uniformly classified and sorted according to the awards applied for and submitted to the organizing committee office; individuals can also self-recommend according to the actual situation and submit the required materials to the organizing committee office.

The organizing committee will no longer accept applications of any nature after the deadline.
2. Qualification review and nomination (including public announcement) stage: April 17th-April 28th
The organizing committee will conduct a careful and strict review of all students who apply for each award, and select and nominate the best for each award based on the applicant’s deeds and materials8 students, including 40 civilization stars, learning stars, volunteer stars, sports stars, and literary stars.
3. Promotional stage: April 29th-May 12th
The organizing committee will use "University of Economics and Business", promotional windows, campus radio, the Internet, etc. to publicize the deeds of the nominated students. Each unit can also organize publicity for the students nominated for various awards in the unit, and the form is not limited.
4. Winner evaluation stage: May 15th-May 25th
The organizing committee will ultimately determine the winners based on the deeds of each nominee.
5. Awards
Invite w88 casino leaders and relevant professional authorities to award certificates and trophies (plates) to the winners (you can also refer to the opinions of the nominated students to determine the awarding guests).
3. Work requirements
The Party and Youth League branches (directly affiliated branches) of each college (department) must attach great importance to this work. Based on the principles of "fairness, impartiality, openness, and merit selection" and based on extensive listening to students' opinions, they should actively recommend representative students from their units to participate in the selection (recommendation materials shall be submitted in the name of the Youth League branch); they must also provide active support to self-recommended students from their units.
