“Fire Safety Knowledge Lectures and Practical Practice” Activity

Chen Yanhua, deputy director of Chaoyang District Taiyangong Fire Rescue Station, and Comrade Zhang Wen, leader of the communications support team, were invited to participate in this event. Gao Yuan, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the National Development and Reform Commission, presided over the event. Counselor Dong Junying and more than 70 students attended the event. Subsequently, squad leader Zhang Wen gave a detailed introduction to the students from the four aspects of "fire prevention", "fire extinguishing", "escape" and "self-rescue" based on his own experience. He used videos, pictures and other forms to vividly describe a series of fire safety knowledge such as the formation process of fire, self-rescue and escape methods, and the types, composition and use of fire extinguishers. He also further strengthened the students' awareness of "preventing trouble before it happens" through case explanations.

Everyone was extremely attentive during the lecture. Especially when they saw the vivid past cases, all the students present were shocked, deeply felt the importance of fire safety, and were full of respect for the soldiers involved in the firefighting cause. At the meeting, participating students had in-depth exchanges with fire fighters.

In order to promote the integration of fire protection theoretical knowledge and practice, all participants went to Ningyuan Building to learn the use and practical operation of fire protection equipment. Deputy station director Chen Yanhua vividly introduced the use of common fire-fighting facilities and the specific functional structure of fire trucks. Under the guidance of Stationmaster Chen, teachers and students also conducted practical exercises with dry powder fire extinguishers. Finally, the two fire commanders, teachers and classmates took a group photo in front of the fire truck.

After the activity, the students expressed that they should know more about fire protection, pay attention to fire protection, learn to use fire extinguishing equipment correctly, improve their fire awareness and self-rescue ability in the face of sudden fire situations, and pay close attention to electrical safety and other behaviors that may cause fires on campus to create a good fire safety environment for the w88 casino.

This event is one of a series of activities co-organized by the Party Branch of the Chaoyang District Taiyangong Fire Rescue Station and the Student Party Branch of the National Institute for Opening up. Next, the Party Committee of the Institute will lead students to the Taiyangong Fire and Rescue Station for an on-site visit and further study of fire safety knowledge and skills.

2021 is the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China. The two branches will work hand in hand to jointly strengthen branch construction, achieve win-win cooperation, and contribute to the party’s centenary birthday with excellent results!
