Meng Dawei, the Chinese director of the Confucius Institute in Nuevo Leon, gave a lecture on China’s economy to the students entitled “Keywords in China in the Past 5 Years”. Taking China’s total GDP in 2016 as the starting point, he elaborated on the Belt and Road Initiative, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, the supply side, and Internet+. An overview of China's social and economic development in recent years; taking Alipay and WeChat as examples to introduce the development of electronic payment in China, and analyzing the national conditions of Mexico to discuss the feasibility and necessity of the development of electronic payment in Mexico, and conducted in-depth discussions and interactions on the relevant issues that students are most concerned about.Hu Guangyong, a Chinese teacher, gave a unique Chinese demonstration class to the teachers and students present.
