On February 5th local time, the "Flowers and Moons to Welcome the New Year's Party" sponsored by the Confucius Institute of w88 casino of the University of Leeds, England was held at Leeds City Hall. The evening party invited folk band from the No. 6 Middle School in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, local musicians in Leeds and local teenagers bands to participate in the performance.

On February 8th local time, the annual Yorkshire w88 casino dinner hosted by the Confucius Institute of w88 casino of the University of Leeds in the UK was successfully held at the University of Leeds. Mr. Jin Xu, Minister of Economic Affairs and Commerce Office of the Chinese Embassy in the UK, Ms. Councilor Jane Dowson, Mayor of Leeds City, and Sir Alan Langlands, Vice President of the University of Leeds attended and delivered speeches. More than 90 elites from Leeds City, w88 casino, and academic circles, including representatives of the Sino-British w88 casino Council Cooperative Organization and representatives of various Chinese and British enterprises and organizations attended the dinner.

On February 14th local time, our school, the Confucius Institute of w88 casino, Leeds University, United Kingdom, and the Chinese Students and Scholars Federation (Leeds-CSSA) held a Spring Festival Gala at Leeds City Hall, and together with Leeds students, welcoming the new and celebrate the Spring Festival. Wang Ying, Chinese Education Counselor in Manchester, UK, Professor Yu Haisui, Vice President of Leeds University, and Mayor Leeds attended the party and presented New Year's greetings to everyone.

On February 22 local time, our school’s Confucius Institute in Leeds, UK, held a Confucius Classroom, Harrogate Grammar School, held a Chinese New Year’s Eve Gala. The content of the gala includes lion dance, face change, acrobatics and other traditional Chinese folk arts, as well as local British middle school students singing Chinese songs. The content of the event was wonderful, and the students and parents who participated in the evening cheered for the wonderful traditional Chinese art.
