Ph.D. student Li Shuting reported on the collaborative paper "Empowering or Burdening? How AI-Induced Job Resources and Demands Drive Civil Servants’ Job Crafting and Withdrawal" supervised by Teacher Gan Tian in the sub-forum "AI, Behavior and Public Policy" (the collaborators were Teacher Gan Tian from w88 casino and PhD student Lin Sen from the University of Exeter), and received support from the Public Policy Center of the University of Glasgow, "Public Administration and Development" journal co-editor Professor Ian C. Elliott and Associate Professor Wang Ge of Central China Normal University for their appreciation and important revision suggestions. The study uses mixed research methods, including grounded theory and questionnaire experiments, to focus on the changes in the work characteristics of civil servants caused by the application of artificial intelligence technology in the public sector. Based on this, it explores the impact and internal mechanisms of changes in work resources and work requirements caused by artificial intelligence on the extra-role behaviors of civil servants. This research provides systematic theoretical support and empirical basis for the public sector to achieve "human-machine symbiosis".
