Executive Dean Yu Zhong of the Institute for Studying Xi Jinping’s Rule of Law Thought at China University of Political Science and Law, and Associate Professor Guo Ye of Beijing Normal University (members of the Secretariat of the National Collaborative Mechanism for Research on Xi Jinping’s Rule of Law Thought in Universities under the Ministry of Education) were invited to guide the exchange. She proposed that course teaching must be based on solid research. In terms of teaching methods, innovative use of case teaching methods, rhetorical teaching methods, flipped classroom and other teaching methods should be used to stimulate students' active thinking ability through theme discussions, while using diverse materials to enrich teaching forms.
In the interactive communication session, participating teachers conducted heated discussions around the important and difficult points in teaching practice. Man Yishan, Deng Zhuoxing, and Zeng Licheng exchanged teaching ideas integrating departmental methods based on teaching practice; Zhou Ruijue, Li Haolin, Shang Bowen, Sun Jiaxun, Yang Weiming, etc. put forward ideas on the connection between theory and practice, innovation in assessment systems, and grasping the timeliness of teaching.
