The forum invited leaders of national ministries and commissions, experts and scholars in the field of border open development, border city and county leaders, business elites, and leading representatives from the Vietnam Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Vietnam Strategic Development Research Institute, and Vietnam Central Academy of Economics and Management to make keynote speeches focusing on the construction and development of border areas. The forum released the "2018 Border Development and Opening Annual Report" written by the National Economic Research Institute's research team, and held a series of high-end dialogues - promoting the connection between the "One Belt and One Road" and the "Two Corridors and One Circle", border opening development seminars, border tourism seminars, and border provinces, districts, counties and mayors' talks.
