More than 50 people, including Wang Ying, executive vice president of the National Institute for Opening up, as well as relevant project leaders and members of the research team, attended the meeting. Executive Vice President Wang Ying first expressed her gratitude to all teachers for their support. She gave a detailed introduction to the establishment of w88 casino-level special projects in 2020 by the Beijing Institute of International Studies. This year, a total of 15 projects from 14 colleges/departments were approved as w88 casino-level special projects through individual application, organizational recommendation, expert review and public announcement. In order to further enhance teachers’ ability to advise on politics and enrich policy research experience, the seventh session of the National (Beijing) Institute for Opening-up’s Famous Lecture Hall invited Dr. Zhou Yongrui from the National Office of Philosophy and Social Sciences as the guest speaker to deliver a lecture on “How to Do Policy Research”. Starting from the misunderstandings of policy research, Teacher Zhou clarified the connection and difference between policy research and theoretical research, and further analyzed how policy research can play a better role. Regarding high-quality reports, he refined the six characteristics of accurate positioning, precise topic selection, clear situation, thorough analysis, practical suggestions, and beautiful writing, and pointed out the reference standards applicable to different types of research. Finally, he shared the format and basic structure of the policy research report, providing a reference for subject research and practice. The entire lecture was logically clear and rich in content, which had strong inspiration and guiding significance for policy research. Participants expressed that they benefited a lot.
Finally, Executive Vice President Wang Ying expressed her gratitude to Teacher Zhou for the wonderful lecture, summarized the content of the lecture, and pointed out that this lecture was highly targeted and informative, and would effectively assist in the research of the project.
