As early as when applying for the college entrance examination, Xia Zhen had already made up his mind to study law. "It might be good to study a more popular major like finance, but people have to be more rational," Xia Zhen said. "I feel that I am not suitable, so I should make a choice before making a choice."
"Gu Cheng said something: Just like you are an apple tree, you dream of bearing oranges, but you still honestly bear apples." Xia Tian really believes that the luckiest people know what they want, choose it firmly, and keep going. But there are often people who don't know what they want and just choose to go ahead. The saddest thing is that you make a confused choice and give up halfway without persisting to the end. “Sometimes, we really don’t know exactly what we want, but what we can control is to keep going.”
Academically, Xia Tian is both hardworking and efficient, but she also smiled and said that she was lacking in both aspects. She believes that diligence is a quality that every outstanding student, regardless of IQ level, should possess. Some people are indeed very smart. Perhaps pre-exam surprises can indeed achieve good results in the exam, but in her opinion, this is not conducive to long-term development.
Xia Tian really likes reading. She believes that reading should be a process of slowly accumulating knowledge. "I've been reading about Nordic mythology recently. Maybe it seems remote to others, and it's hard to get any practical knowledge from it, but I'm very interested, and that's enough."
Xia Tian Zhen has never been a closed-door academic. She always thinks about some practical issues, ranging from the humanistic feelings of her family and country to the small interpersonal relationships around her. In her opinion, today's college students should not only focus on the small circles related to their own lives, but should have a sense of responsibility for the world. Just like students who graduate from the law major, they should not focus on becoming lawyers and be a recipient of the law, but should go deep into legal research and strive to be the master of the law.
When talking about her expectations for herself, Xia Tian really thought for a moment, "Let's be a person who follows one's heart. This 'heart' is not simply following one's temper, but sticking to one's original intention after rational thinking."
